They wouldn't let me go to the exam room with my 3yr old.

If I could leave zero I would. They are one of the only dental offices that take my insurance and i have a tooth emergency yet they aren't taking any new patients and therefore do not care. Thanks for not helping with my tooth and giving no information to who else could help with an emergency.

I don't think it's appropriate to not allow parents to come back with children. It makes it difficult to discuss care and makes me extremely uncomfortable as well as one of my children. A 3 or 4 yr old shouldn't be alone when health is involved.

Would be nice if they'd actually accept new patients for a change instead of having to go search miles out of town to find a place that'll take our insurance.

I took my daughter here today, she's 4 year's old, very shy, and this was her first dentist visit. The 'nurse' I'm not sure what to refer to her as, she said her name was Holly, she was very persistent that neither my husband or myself go back with our daughter. When I said I would like to she took my daughter's hand and left me behind and walked off to the room, leaving me way behind. I tried talking to Holly and she ignored me, several times. At the end of my daughter's teeth cleaning she said I'm sure you noticed I was ignoring you but that's only because we want this to be all about the child. So, she acknowledged she was ignoring me but did ask if I had questions at the end. Holly was VERY good with my daughter though! Dentist Alexander was great. I feel like Holly shouldn't have been so rude with me (ignoring me, she admitted this) and tell my husband he couldn't go back with our daughter, then try to tell me I couldn't. I was nothing but polite to every single worker there, I gave no reason for her to have started off acting the way she did at first. This almost drove us away from doing business here but I told my husband just drive me back and let me at least talk to them. Other than Holly's lack of respect towards me until the end of the visit, it went fantastic and I do have another appointment in 6 months for my daughter and one for my son. I just feel like Holly could use more training or the dental office reconsider their rules of no parents allowed and to ignore the parent at first, if what she said was true. I would like to add, I live 50 miles away from this facility and didn't know any of the workers there, so it made it even more important to me that I seen where my daughter was getting dental care and how.

Spent the morning here with all my children who got a checkup and clean teeth. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. My younger children had a great experience getting their teeth cleaned.Really enjoyed meeting Dr. Alexander for my younger children. I would recommend Dr. Alexander to anyone looking for a dentist. However, my teenage boys were very unhappy with the other dentist that saw them after their hygiene cleaning for tooth repairs. Won't be taking them back there because of the poor manner in which they were treated. For instance, my son was told to raise your hand if the pain gets too much and you need a break. When he raised his hand he was told, "I'm almost done. You'll be fine."

Dont like the policy that parents can't come back with kids no matter what their age. Doesn't give enough opportunity for parents to talk about problems or concerns with them.

The staff are very friendly and encouraging! They make you feel comfortable at a usual uncomfortable place. I hate to go to the dentist but going there I am not as scared or nervous. Very good dentist and dental hygienist!
