Dr. Hariram Kabra was born and raised in the small town of Sangli, India as the youngest of 8 siblings. After graduating from Government Dental College in Mumbai, India, he completed a one year oral surgery residency program. Dr. Kabra moved to New York City in 1976 and underwent an additional three years of dental training at the College of Dentistry at New York University. After working for various practices in the Albany area,
Dr. Kabra is an active member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Society, Third District Dental Society and the Empire State Academy for Continuing Dental Education. To this date, he has greater than 800 hours of continuing education and over 80 hours of implant restoration education.
Dr Kabra has two children. His daughter, Dr. Nikki Kabra-Prakash is a Pediatric Dentist currently living in Newport Beach California with her husband. His son Dr. Nitin Kabra is a Cardiologist currently doing his fellowship in Westchester, he was married in 2016.

I am so happy that I chose to go with Dr. Kabra to complete my bottom denture, he did an amazing job and it is the most perfect fit ever, I am so very happy with them, they look so nice and very natural The best part about the whole experience is he took the time to listen to my wants and needs and also took his time with making them! I am so thankful and blessed to be one of his patients

He took the time to actually listen to a problem I was having for years with a tooth that I was previously brushed off about; he fixed it and fixed a tooth I was self conscious about and have me my confidence back! Very nice, thorough and the staff is so inviting! For once I don't completely dread going to the dentist.

Have had a TERRIBLE STAIN on my front tooth for years and have been told I can't do anything! He was able to get rid of it and I cannot be happier!

Doctor Kabra is an amazing and experienced dentist but if you ask a question or have a medical condition that makes what he's doing harder, he will get angry at you and raise his voice. I was 14 years old and he treated me like I wasn't even human. Hariram needs to improve his social skills

This dentist was very rude and treated me like I was nothing stating "I don't have time for this all your teeth will just fall out." All because I wouldn't get a cleaning done I have always had sensitive teeth and cleaning hurt for weeks after I haven't been to a dentist in about 20 years due to bad experiences I think he was mad cause there wasn't much money to be made on my teeth one tooth he claims has to be removed caused my insurance won't pay for what it needs it's not dead or infected and another tooth only needed one tiny filling never even asked if I wanted to pay out of pocket to save my tooth which I will be doing and with that tooth my gums became infected and formed an abscess which ended up taking a part of the tooth leaving the nerve exposed over a year ago guess I know how to care for my teeth if it wasn't for that abscess I would have had just one tiny cavity don't go to him unless you like being treated like dirt as for the rest of his staff I feel sorry for them as everyone else was nice and understanding of my fears due to bad experience and pain I know I would have

Doctor Kabra has extreme anger issues, and an ego more fragile than a middle school principal. Majority of the Google reviews about his practice are from fake throwaway accounts created by him. I do not recommend this practice whatsoever.

I had so much tartar build up but Dr. Kabra professionally and expertly cleaned my teeth himself, it made me regret letting myself go without a cleaning. I highly recommend Dr. Kabra.

I wanted to find to a new dentist after dissatisfaction at another local dentist and I made that clear in my first contact with this provider. Seeing I had recent dental insurance claims for deep cleaning, xrays and exam, this provider said they "wouldn't see me" and when I tried to explain I wasn't happy or comfortable with where I was going, they literally hung up on me. I guess they are more concerned that I left another provider than they are with helping people.

Truly the best dentist I have ever been to! Small office however, a dentist who is great at his job and cares about his patients is all that matters! Strongly suggest this specific dentist as I have personally went to 2 other dentists in the area.

Dr Kabra has been my dentist for 11 years now and I have nothing but good things to say. He takes the fear out of going to the dentist and is very reassuring. He stands behind his work and I can tell you the results are second to none. He and his entire staff are kind, courteous and professional. In short, if you are looking for a dentist you need to look no further and I recommend you give Dr Kabra a call. You will not be disappointed.

I have been a patient of Doctor Kabra for over 30 years. I walked into his office after neglecting my teeth for a decade. This resulted in many cavities and several broken teeth. Through his skill he was able to get my mouth to a better place and his 30 years of looking after my teeth has kept them in good order. Doctor Kabra has a good chair side manner; the Staff is friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend him and his practice to anyone looking for a dentist.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Kabra for 24 years. We have only compliments for this practice. Dr Kabra always does an excellent job! He is very patient with me as I have a bad gag reflex.. He never makes me feel rushed or that I am inconveniencing him. They are very knowledgeable about our insurance and make sure that our claims are submitted correctly. We are confident in the work we get done by Dr Kabra.

I can't express my gratitude enough for Dr. Kabra. He is the absolute BEST dentist I have ever come across through out the capital region. He has literally saved my mouth. EVERY single tooth in the front of my mouth was rotted, nearly gone. This man saved every. single. one. He is quick, proficient, and honest. I swear from numb to completion - it's maybe a max of 40 minutes. He may come across a bit on the dry side, but you will come to realize he is just honest and genuinely wants to help you. He is providing outstanding service to us in the Rensselaer County area. I can't begin to thank you enough Dr. Kabra. From the bottom of my heart; you and your staff have helped me immensely. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend coming here. (They may have a bit of a wait, but I promise it is worth it.)

A phenomenal dentist! I have been a patient for over 10 years and I have absolutely no complaints. Dr. Kabra has saved many of my teeth. His staff is always pleasant and efficient. 10/10 would definitely recommend. A true artist/expert in his field!!
