Prompt clean friendly. Never feels rushed. Very thorough and thoughtful care. I feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Lyons. Cassidy is a phenomenal hygienist, Jamie is genuine, kind, and efficient and Caitlyn is a star! I've had others on staff who've cared for me and they've all be excellent without exception. As a healthcare provider, I know how difficult it is to provide such consistent, kind, competent service. The team at Ponderosa Smiles are a rare find and I feel fortunate they're in our backyard!!

Dr Rob Lyon is an excellent dentist, extremely skilled and professional. He has a warm and caring personality which is also reflected by his staff. I appreciate his business model which prioritizes the lives of his family and those of his employees and patients. I enthusiastically recommend this dental practice.

Definitely would recommend going here. I love everyone that works here they are all great people and treat you awesome. When getting work done on your teeth they do a phenomenal job . Couldn't have picked a better place to go!!!!

I was originally seeing another dentist in Rapid City and heard about Ponderosa Smiles from a family member and I decided to give them a try. WOW - I am SO happy to have switched!! The front desk gal (I am sorry I don't recall her name!), Raye and Dr. Rob were SO friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough - I definitely was not receiving this extent of help/service at my previous dentist. Beyond grateful to have made the switch!

The best dentist around! Dr. Lyons is very nice and takes the time to chat with everyone that comes in. Cassidy is such a sweetheart and does a great job cleaning my teeth and explaining things. There's a kind, family feel right when you walk in the door and it continues the whole time you're there!

Wonderful team at Ponderosa Smiles. They make you feel right at home and our not doing what the latest trend of dentists offices seem to be now doing - being too pushy and trying to cram extra procedures on you. I would highly recommend Dr. Rob and his staff. Your teeth are important and they make you feel like they really care and are not superficial about it. They cater to you and your needs.

So many words I can say about Dr Lyons, he is truly a saint! He's honest, kind, compassionate, smart, professional, and I can go on...but more importantly a doctor that I have 100% trust in and I know I can count on him for every advice and service he provides for myself and my children. The staff are so welcoming and friendly as well. Cassidy is a sweetheart and always professional. Ray does amazing with my two boys! Ponderosa smiles is a place you will feel comfortable as soon as you walk through the door. Highly recommend for families!

Incredibly personable, empathetic, and highly attentive to detail. This could be said for any member of the staff, let alone Dr. Rob.
