Dr. Hema Pombra is a board-certifiedDentistfrom the state of California and wasawardedherDoctorof Dental Surgery from BVP Dental College, Pune, India. She has been trained in all aspects of general dentistry, including, preventive, restorative, cosmetic, and periodontics. Dr. Pombra is detail and quality oriented and she is committed to patients excellence and comfort. She accomplishes this by providing the highest quality ofdental careby using the latest technology available for her patients. She is interested in treating thesourceof thediseaserather than just thesymptoms.

Dr. Pombra is amemberof theSan Mateo Dental Society, theAmerican Dental Association, and theCalifornia Dental Society. Dr. Pombra continues to learn and improve her skills through various CE courses, study clubs, and ongoing training. As a member of our community, she is committed to give back by providing dentalcarefor patients that cannot afford it. To achieve this Dr. Pombra volunteers at the SamaritanHouseFree Clinic, a non-profit organization located in San Mateo.

Jaime Meyer began dental assisting in 2006, and received her RDA Certification in 2007. To keep abreast with the newest dental technology Jaime takes continuing education courses. She enjoys working with the patients and making them feel right at home. Jaime finds working at Pombra Dental rewarding and satisfying. She enjoys working with her co-workers and serving kind and friendly patients. In her free time she enjoys cooking and fitness.

Amy Stickel is a Registered Dental Hygienist with a BA in Speech Communication and an AS in Dental Hygiene. She began practicing in 2009 and has focused on delivering patient education and preventative care in an informed, gentle and friendly manner. She strives to help reduce the incidence of oral disease by conducting evidenced based practices. In her free time, Amy enjoys being outdoors with her family and running.

Guilla is another one of Pombra Dentals administrative assistants. Guilla was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, and she is bilingual in both English and Tagalog. Guilla truly enjoys helping patients understand their treatment plans, helping patients complete their treatment with a positive experience. When shes not in the office, Guilla enjoys fitness, taking care of her plants and animals, or simply relaxing at home with her fiance.

Jessica is another one of Pombra Dentals administrative assistants. She is always happy to assist you with any billing or insurance questions. She originally went to school to become a dental assistant, but fell in love with working in the front office 7 years ago when she first started in the Dental field. She grew up in the Bay Area & is involved in the Jewish community. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her son, golfing and cooking.
