Dr. Scott Graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Science degree and went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Science degree from Marquette's dental school. He then spent two years recieving advanced training from the United States Navy before returning to his home town of Appleton. Dr. Scott has proudly been an Appleton dentist for over 30 years.
A consummate professional, Dr. Scott is always responsive to his patients needs and concerns while being committed to providing excellent dentistry. He prides himself on the fact that he is as much an educator to his patients as he is a healer. Dr. Scott takes as much time as needed to educate his patients so that they can make informed decisions regarding their treatment.
After receiving his bachelor of science degree from Marquette University in 1997, Dr. Ed walked down the street 2 blocks and entered the Dental School at Marquette. He graduated from the Dental School in 2005 and returned to Appleton to join his mother and father in practice.
Highly commited to mastering the latest dental inovations, Dr. Ed continues his education by attending advanced training all over the country. His focus is on both laser dentistry and minimally invasive dentistry. Dr. Ed received his associate fellowship from the World Clinic Laser Institute, and has since been providing gentle laser dentistry in the least invasive way possible.
Dr. Ed feels very strongly about community outreach and service. Volunteering at the Tri-County Dental Clinic and educating children at schools and the Children's Museum are some of the ways in which he feels he is making the Fox Cities a healthier and better community.
When he is not working on teeth, Dr. Ed likes to spend time with his wife and3 children. He does however still like to work with his hands since he is an avid woodworker and photographer. Ask him about it next time you see him.

Dr Polzin and all the people in this office have been amazing to work with. So gentle and understanding and explained my options. Definitely happy with this staff!

My family has been going here for decades. Honest, friendly, very professional. There is no high pressure sales to do anything other than why you are there. It is a model of how to run a business. To whoever posted less than five stars, I think you misinterpreted something. Your description does not fit this place or these people at all.

This a good dentist. They are honest and do a very good job. In a pinch, they were able to schedule an appointment for an urgent but not an immediate need. I feel bad leaving my previous dentist as he is good too. The pandemic didn't help that matter. All in all, Polzin did a great job in a pinch.

I have insurance that's not very good and does not cover very many places but I choose to come here and pay. I trust both dentists here. Also great staff.

We picked out Polzin Family Dental when we moved back to Appleton several years ago and we have been very pleased. The dentists are experienced and very practical, and the charges (with my dental insurance) are very reasonable and fair. At this practice they don't recommend every dental procedure under the sun if it's not really necessary - they've been great about identifying minor issues that we can just keep an eye on, and doing different levels of fillings depending on severity. So, the few times they have said we need to do more advanced dental work, I have been able to trust them. The hygienists are great too. They have a great bedside manner with small children, and feel gentle during my own cleanings. I have noticed as well that there's not a lot of turn over - the same team is there year after year. That probably means the employees are happy, but it also means the staff are experienced, comfortable, and work well together. Highly recommend!

My parents have been bringing me here since my first cleaning, and my family has been going since they became Polzin's. Amazing family business, where the kindness is genuine and you truly feel like part of the family. Keep up the great work!

I saw Dr. Polzin to get a crown popped back in while visiting family here. While he did a fine enough job, I was put at unease by the Confederate flag calendar on his wall and felt it would be remiss not to warn others who might see him beforehand; if this ever were to happen again I think I'd shop around elsewhere.

The entire staff is amazing. Very patient and understanding. Dentists and hygenists do great work. My mother who doesn't speak English says she prefers going to them because they do phenomenal work and always make her feel welcome.
