Dr. Jason K. Pollei believes orthodontic treatment is more than just straightening teeth or fixing bites. It is an opportunity to make a positive lifelong impact on esthetics, confidence, and function. When asked what he loves most about his career, Dr. Pollei said: Seeing the difference a smile makes drew me to orthodontics, and it keeps me excited about what I get to do every day!
After completing an undergraduate degree in Zoology at Brigham Young University in 3 years, Dr. Pollei attended dental school at the University of North Carolina where he graduated with distinction and was inducted into the OKU national dental honor society. His orthodontic training was also completed at the University of North Carolina where he earned his Master of Science in Orthodontics degree and his Orthodontic Specialty Certification. Dr. Pollei is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. He has presented his own original orthodontic research nationally and internationally.
Dr. Pollei maintains active membership with local, state, and national professional organizations. This is just another way that Dr. Pollei stays up to date on current evidence-based advances in orthodontics. He is also a participant on multiple advisement boards that focus on treating complex orthodontic cases.
Supporting the communities they serve is important to Dr. Pollei and his team. They sponsor community youth and school athletics, music, drama and academics. They also support local churches and schools, and work with the Interfaith Dental Clinic in Nashville.
Dr. Pollei is married to Heather and they have six children. He stays active trail running and coaching youth soccer (and playing with the old men from time to time). He has played the organ at church for over a decade, and he cheers for BYU football, Liverpool soccer, Carolina hoops and the Titans and Preds.
Jessica grew up in Maine, but has lived in Mt Juliet for the past 22 years. She graduated from Eastern Nazarene College with a BS in social work, and from Roberts Wesleyan College with her MSW. She and her husband Jae have 3 children. Jessica is a soccer mom on the weekends where she can be found cheering her son on from the sidelines. She is active in her church and loves to read, travel, and spend time with her family.
Sonya was born and raised in Mississippi, but she has lived in Tennessee for the past 26 years. She has been married to Charlie for 30 years and they have two sons and two daughters-in-law. Shes active in her church and she loves spending time with her family. She enjoys photography, crafting, and being outdoors.
Maegan lives in Lebanon with her husband Anthony and beautiful daughter Makaleigh. As a teenager she was a patient in our practice, and she graduated from Lebanon High School. She has always liked orthodontics because of the changes she sees in each individual over the course of treatment. Maegan enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Amber is a Lebanon native and is a graduate of Wilson Central High School. Her interest in the dental field was largely influenced by growing up with a mom who is a dental assistant. Amber is married to Hunter, and she loves spending time with her fur baby Turbo. She could live at the beach, and the way to her heart is through good Mexican food.

Had a great experience with braces here after already having braces prior. The first time I got braces, I was told that I would only be able to get my overbite fixed with surgery, my teeth were still overcrowded and not straight after 2 years of having them. A couple of years later I decided to give them another try with Dr Pollei after hearing great things about his work. Immediately, he assured me that no surgery was necessary to fix my overbite. He fixed my overcrowding and I have gone from a really big overbite to almost none at all. I never thought my teeth would be able to look nice, or that I would ever be comfortable with my smile, but i'm very happy I did it again and chose the right person to do it. I am more than happy with how my teeth look now. Dr Pollei is great at what he does, he's super friendly and his staff is as well. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience over these last 2.5+ years.

Our family loves Pollei Orthodontics! We had a wonderful experience there. We received excellent orthodontic care, the staff was super friendly, and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend contacting Dr. Pollei's office for a consultation.

We have had a great experience here with our oldest daughter's braces treatment. Dr. Pollei and his assistants are so friendly and professional. The front office is also a pleasure to work with. We will definitely take our youngest here too when she needs braces.

Both of my kids have have been treated by Dr. POLLEI and his team. I can't say enough about them, they have treated my kids with the utmost care. They did an excellent job with my daughter's teeth and they are now working on my son's teeth. I love this place, I would highly recommend them to anyone that need braces.

Growing up I always had very crowded, crooked teeth. I had pretty much resigned myself to the fact that this was the smile I had and I just had to deal with it. I was very self conscience of it, and while I was very happy and wanted to smile, was very embarrassed to show the world my teeth. That all changed when I moved to Nashville just before I turned 25. I decided it was a new place and a new start, so lets check into getting braces. Holy moly!!!! Dr. Pollei and his staff never, ever made me feel embarrassed about how my teeth looked. I wasn't even sure it was possible to straighten out my monstrous smile, but Dr. Pollei assured me that they could. I was so nervous!! I've always been scared of the dentist and having people poke around on my teeth, and I had no idea what having braces would be like. Dr. Pollei and his team quickly made me feel at ease though. It was like having my own personal cheerleaders!!!! They were so excited for me to get my braces and were so supportive throughout the whole process!! They are so personable and listen to their patients. It was fun to come in every month and catch up with them. Now I'm not going to say having braces is painless and is all sunshine and rainbows, but Dr. Pollei and his gentle staff do everything they can to make it as pain free as possible. I just got my braces off this morning and couldn't even believe that the dazzling smile I saw in the mirror was my own. Dr. Pollei exceeded my expectations and have me a smile I can share with the world!!!! His whole team came and looked at my new smile, and they were all so happy for me!! And I was not the only adult in his office getting braces!!! So if you think you're too old or that braces can't fix your smile, I highly recommend giving dr. Pollei and his staff a visit. You will 1000000% not regret it!!!!!

My 8th grade step-son has been a patient here for several months now. When we first visited the office I was impressed by everyone we met, and that hasn't changed with additional visits. My son likes Dr. Pollei very much and all of the people in the office are very helpful and friendly. Would recommend them to anyone!
