Dr. Jason K. Pollei believes orthodontic treatment is more than just straightening teeth or fixing bites. It is an opportunity to make a positive lifelong impact on esthetics, confidence, and function. When asked what he loves most about his career, Dr. Pollei said: Seeing the difference a smile makes drew me to orthodontics, and it keeps me excited about what I get to do every day!
After completing an undergraduate degree in Zoology at Brigham Young University in 3 years, Dr. Pollei attended dental school at the University of North Carolina where he graduated with distinction and was inducted into the OKU national dental honor society. His orthodontic training was also completed at the University of North Carolina where he earned his Master of Science in Orthodontics degree and his Orthodontic Specialty Certification. Dr. Pollei is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. He has presented his own original orthodontic research nationally and internationally.
Dr. Pollei maintains active membership with local, state, and national professional organizations. This is just another way that Dr. Pollei stays up to date on current evidence-based advances in orthodontics. He is also a participant on multiple advisement boards that focus on treating complex orthodontic cases.
Supporting the communities they serve is important to Dr. Pollei and his team. They sponsor community youth and school athletics, music, drama and academics. They also support local churches and schools, and work with the Interfaith Dental Clinic in Nashville.
Dr. Pollei is married to Heather and they have six children. He stays active trail running and coaching youth soccer (and playing with the old men from time to time). He has played the organ at church for over a decade, and he cheers for BYU football, Liverpool soccer, Carolina hoops and the Titans and Preds.
Jessica grew up in Maine, but has lived in Mt Juliet for the past 22 years. She graduated from Eastern Nazarene College with a BS in social work, and from Roberts Wesleyan College with her MSW. She and her husband Jae have 3 children. Jessica is a soccer mom on the weekends where she can be found cheering her son on from the sidelines. She is active in her church and loves to read, travel, and spend time with her family.
Sonya was born and raised in Mississippi, but she has lived in Tennessee for the past 26 years. She has been married to Charlie for 30 years and they have two sons and two daughters-in-law. Shes active in her church and she loves spending time with her family. She enjoys photography, crafting, and being outdoors.
Maegan lives in Lebanon with her husband Anthony and beautiful daughter Makaleigh. As a teenager she was a patient in our practice, and she graduated from Lebanon High School. She has always liked orthodontics because of the changes she sees in each individual over the course of treatment. Maegan enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Amber is a Lebanon native and is a graduate of Wilson Central High School. Her interest in the dental field was largely influenced by growing up with a mom who is a dental assistant. Amber is married to Hunter, and she loves spending time with her fur baby Turbo. She could live at the beach, and the way to her heart is through good Mexican food.
