Ive been working in the ortho field for the past 16 years. Ive worked with Dr. Pollack for the past 9 years. He is a really good doctor and he takes pride in his work, as do I. I enjoy coming to work everyday knowing Im going to make someone smile. Hope to see you soon!
Dr. Michael Pollack grew up right here in Camarillo. He attended UC San Diego for undergraduate studies where he earned a bachelors degree in physics and a minor in organic chemistry. He was presented with numerous awards for academic achievement and was one of only a few students ever accepted into UC San Diegos honors physics research program.
Dr. Pollack pursued his doctoral training at UCLA, and after receiving his dental surgery degree, went on to complete a general practice residency at the Community Medical Center and VA hospitals in Fresno. He followed that with a specialty residency at Loma Linda University, where he earned his certificate in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics along with a masters degree in craniofacial biology. Dr. Pollack graduated top of his orthodontic class and was invited by Loma Linda University to become part of their faculty.
Since 2009, he has practiced in and around Ventura county. Dr. Pollack is a highly passionate and skilled orthodontist whose love for the field shows in everything he does. He actively pursues the science and research behind all aspects of orthodontics, but above all, he enjoys working with people of all ages to help them achieve beautiful smiles.
Dr. Pollack loves spending time with his beautiful girlfriend Brandy and her amazing daughter Makenzie. He is also a fly fishing nut, an audio enthusiast, and enjoys building PCs as well as staying abreast with the latest audio-video and computing technologies.
