Family Dentistry of Columbus is proud to serve the Columbus, GA area with professional dental services. It was started by Dr. Marlon Murrell, DMD whose goal was to provide comprehensive dental care to Columbus and Phenix City patients. He founded Family Dentistry of Columbus with the goal of providing great dentistry in the most comfortable dental environment possible to patients age 3 and up. As time went on, his dental business grew and he was able to expand those same great efforts to even more patients, eventually needing more dentists who shared his same ideals. That was the basis that Family Dentistry of Columbus was founded upon, and those same ideals hold true today.
Since day one, we continue to work under those same founding points of providing great dental care and always, always putting our patients first. After working in private practice for two years in Statesboro, Georgia, Dr. Polk joined Dr. Marlon Murrell here at Family Dentistry of Columbus in August of 1998. For over 20 years, he has continued to provide detailed dental care to the people of Columbus and beyond.
Dr. Polk is an expert in the dentistry field and values each and every patient who goes through his practice. He ensures top-notch dental services and will stop at nothing to make sure the patients in which he is working with are comfortable with their services. Dr. Polk treats his patients like family and truly cares for each individuals dental health.
Dr. Thomas Parker is originally from Americus, Georgia, where he graduated from Southland Academy. From there he earned his Bachelor of Business Degree, with a major in Finance, from Georgia Southwestern State University. He also attended Columbus State University where he completed his dental school prerequisites.
Dr. Parker joined Family Dentistry of Columbus in 2008. His experience and knowledge in the field of dentistry have established him as an excellent dentist. His attention to detail and attentiveness to dental care have made him a trusted dental expert among our team. He spends ample time with his patients and helps to ensure each person gets the treatment and service they deserve. He values quality over quantity and assures that he is doing his best work with each and every patient.
