Absolutely not! This is a great question because of the uptick in corporate dental offices in Columbus. We feel these offices simply dont deliver the same quality of care for patients and we continue to remain locally owned. Polaris Dental Care is 100% owned by Dr. Irfan Khan, DDS, who resides in Columbus. We are an independent office and take great pride in the level of personal service we can provide by being independently owned.
Our doctors may work between some of our offices. If you have a preference for anyone in particular, we will accommodate it. Some of our patients prefer to only see 1 doctor, while others prefer to just see whos available. Some even prefer anyone for their 6 month exams and then prefer actual treatment be rendered by a certain dentist. We are flexible and will respect your preferences.
Yes, you can! Our hygienists enjoy seeing the same patients too. Please note that our Hygienists also have personal family lives, and although we strive to keep their times consistent we may have scheduling changes at the last minute. Well do everything we can to accommodate you.
Our dentists strive for continuing education and learning. Dr Khan takes over 100 hours of education every year, which is over 5 times the requirement! Dr Khan is skilled and certified for IV Sedation, Dr Norris is Invisalign certified, and Dr Davis work in the Navy after dental school for several years improving his skills. Our Office is an active member of the following dental organizations:
Dr. Khan grew up in Central Ohio, attending London High School, and then attended The Ohio State University for both his Bachelors degree and also his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. After dental school he has received further training at the Midwest Implant Institute, Mid Continent Orthodontics, AlignTech Institute, Duquesne University, and many other courses. He continues to pursue education to always stay current with modern techniques and products.
Dr. Khan created Polaris Dental Care because he believes in providing personalized, quality treatment to every single patient. He emphasizes treating our patients with compassion, educating our patients using the most up to date techniques, and delivering the highest quality care in the most pain-free way possible. He constantly strives to learn and improve. For example, he takes 6-7 times the amount of continuing education the state requires. His love for technology is why we are always implementing new tech to help deliver the highest quality care.
At Polaris Dental Care, Dr. Khan and his dedicated team provide patients with a wide variety of procedures; everything from fillings and crowns to implants, braces, root canals and removing wisdom teeth.
Dr. Khan volunteers time at free dental events annually, believing that everyone should have access to care. In the past few years, Dr. Irfan Khan has given free dental care to over a hundred patients through the Dentistry From The Heart program.
Dr. SambaNorris grew up in Cleveland, Ohio before moving to Columbus to become a lifelong Buckeye! She received her Bachelors Degree at The Ohio State University before moving to Pittsburgh where she obtained a Masters in Epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health. Being a Buckeye at heart, she decided to return to Columbus and earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery at The Ohio State University. Valuing education, Dr. Norris enjoys staying up to date on the latest research and techniques in the field of dentistry.
Dr. Norris loves to take a comprehensive approach in helping patients to obtain a healthy and beautiful smile. She also understands the importance of educating patients so that they can reach and exceed their oral health goals. Dr. Norris is passionate about taking care of her patients and making them feel comfortable while providing them with excellent dental care.
When Dr. Norris isnt at the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching Ohio State Football, cooking, playing the violin and running. She also enjoys volunteering in the Columbus community.
Dr. Ryan Davis grew up in Columbus, Ohio, attending St. Francis DeSales High School. He graduated from The Ohio State University in 2004 with a B.S. in Dental Hygiene and again in 2008 from the College of Dentistry with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Dr. Davis served as a dentist in the United States Navy at Camp LeJeune, NC, with the US Marine Corps. until July of 2011. He and his wife, Maggie, returned to Ohio and reside in Delaware with their three children, Finn, Rowan, and Sadie.
Dr. Davis believes that each patient should be treated with utmost respect and the best care available. He thinks communication is the key to effective dental health, and patient education and understanding are invaluable to achieving our goals. He makes every effort to create a pain-free, relaxed atmosphere while providing quality dental care to all of his patients. He takes numerous continuing education course each year to stay current on many dental topics.

I woke up face swollen and called these wonderful people for emergency help. They adjusted their schedule to squeeze me in on a very busy day to care for me. Clean, courteous, non judgmental. I always have an amazing experience at Polaris Dental Care of Dublin. Everyone that I have interacted with was friendly. The staff help me feel comfortable being at a dental office. The office is very welcoming and clean.

Polaris Dental Care in ANY location is the Best Dental Practice I have been to by far!! Always so friendly, caring and courteous. When you have a dental procedure, Dr Khan even calls you later on that day or evening from his personal cell to find out how you are doing. Dr. Davis is also Great. I would recommend their offices for all your dental needs.

Dr. Davis and the staff are great. When my family dentist retired (someone I had gone to for 32 years, since I was 14) I was trying to find someone who still cared and was honest (ie, not a dentist who sees you have great dental insurance and lets see how much we can find wrong). Dr. Davis had filled in for my dentist while he was on vacation several times and I really liked him. When the time came to start looking, I searched where Dr. Davis was practicing and I'm glad I did. My whole family made the change and we couldn't be happier.

I needed a crown and Polaris Dental in Dublin made it happen. The temporary crown Savannah made fit perfectly. The next step with Michelle was a breeze and the final crown Dr Davis set was just right. Julia at the front desk was friendly and helpful as usual. What a great group of people. I highly recommend this dental office.

Such a peaceful experience that I dozed off to sleep in the dental chair more than a couple of times. The staff is as patient and professional as one could hope for. My irregular schedule has been such that it was necessary to reset appointment dates, which was done without complaint. I believe Polaris Dental Care is simply the best place to be any time. I'm usually so anxious at the dentist but, from the moment I walked in I felt welcomed and relaxed. The hygienist was amazing as so thorough. Very friendly and let me know what was going on. The Dentist was so helpful and filled me in on everything I didn't understand. Looking forward to my next visit.

My experience from the moment I walked into the door was friendly and welcoming. My dental hygienist Savannah was amazing, friendly and so sweet. My made me feel comfortable for being at the dentist. Then my experience with Dr. Davis was one of the best experiences I have ever had. He explained the procedure step my step and made sure I was comfortable. After he was done he didn't try and rush out of the room. His chair side manners are like no other. Thank you for everything. Look forward to coming back in a few weeks

My experiences with dentist in the past have been horrible. So much so it has caused me not to go to the dentist for work unless I had a problem (toothache, etc). That is what caused me to hunt for Polaris Dental in Dublin. So very happy it did. From day one the people at Polaris Dental have been wonderful. They are understanding and acknowledge my fear of dentist. They take the time to explain, show and talk thru what the best plan of action is. When they do work they do with care. I have never felt more comfortable with a dentist in my life. I would recommend them for sure to do any work. They are improving my smile 10 fold and have ensured I up to date on the plan every step of the way.

Excellent. I have a panic disorder and I drove an hour to come here after the Polaris close to me closed. They were kind, reassuring, and informative- I left with answers and a plan that was focused on my health and not their paycheck in the end. I really truly appreciate them, and I would recommend this office if you are considering them and they are close to you. You will not be disappointed with Dr. Davis, or Courtney their hygienist.

I've been going to this location ever since they opened. Everyone in the office is so freaking nice. I love how they have TVs in the rooms to keep your mind occupied. If you don't have insurance, no problem. They have affordable self-pay plans.
