I just wanted to personally thank you for all you have done for me and my family over the years! We have trusted you implicitly and have had the utmost quality of care and compassion from you. So much so that we were very hesitant to find a new dentist after moving to Northville 3 years ago We wanted you to know what a blessing you have all been to us over the years and that we pray for continued success in your business!

Dr. Elias is an orthodontic specialist who remembers wanting to be a dentist long before she really understood what went into a dental career! During her teenage years, she learned how valuable a beautiful smile was and how it could effect one's self-esteem, self-confidence, and overall quality of life.

Dr. Elias' academic career and training is diverse. She completed an undergraduate and graduate degree in Materials Science & Engineering at The Ohio State University. Motivated by an interest in research and dentistry, she went on to earn a Doctor of Dental Medicine and a Ph.D in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Connecticut. Her training gives her a unique understanding of the materials, mechanics, and bone biology invaluable to orthodontic tooth movement.

After dental school, Dr. Elias completed her postgraduate training and earned a M.S. and Certificate in Orthodontics from The Ohio State University. The training she received was comprehensive and involved collaborate work with the oral surgeons to treat orthognathic surgical cases, craniofacial teams to treat patients with cleft palate, and restorative dental specialists to give people the smile of their dreams. After her formal training, she worked in private practice treating children, teenagers, and adults and also served as a part-time faculty at the UT Health School of Dentistry. Dr. Elias relocated to Michigan in 2018 and is privileged to offer orthodontic care to the Macomb and Wayne communities. In practice, she utilizes many techniques and appliances including expanders, mini-implants, traditional braces, esthetic ceramic braces, lingual braces, among others.

She is active within the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and local dental organizations. Through participation with these organizations, she consistently exceeds state mandated continuing education requirements with the goal of providing the best care and experience for you and your family.

All 3 kids come here for their orthodontics. Very knowledgeable and professional staff. Dr. Elias and Alli have always been honest with what is needed for my kids teeth and their braces.

All staff are very friendly, considerate, and thorough in their area. Each dentist I've interacted with has answered my questions or concerns and takes the time to explain next steps if needed. Thank you!

The dental hygienist (Lisa) was fantastic. The billing/claims is not so great. The short story is that Pointe Dental made a mistake on reading the insurance coverage and would not take any responsibility for their mistake. Hygienist = 5 stars, billing/claims = 1 star

I'm literally scared of the place. Charged for complete xrays, found they weren't complete! Staff not even wearing masks during the pandemic, never have seen this before. Happened to get the worst hygienist ever and young dentist that had no idea they didn't image back teeth so when a real dentist asked for xrays of back teeth, they had none...

Beautiful office, more importantly very professional staff that listen and address all concerns. Many of my family members are patients here, we feel comfortable and confident in the care we have received. Thank you Pointe dental group!!

This place has no interest in helping their patients with medical care- only out for the money. Incredibly rude, cancels appointments, and charges out the wazoo PRIOR to work being done. Insane- I've never seen this level of unprofessionalism.

Unfortunately can't give 0 stars. The complete lack of consideration and basic compassion this office has shown me makes me wish I had never gone here in the first place. Even if the work they had done turned out well I would have rather had a raccoon operate on my mouth as they move more carefully. Not only did they yank my head around while working on my teeth, they quite literally had me gasping for air while they had instruments in my mouth that restricted breathing and covering my nostrils at the same time! If you value being in good hands for dentistry work this is not the place to go.

This office is extremely unprofessional. Beginning with their lack of care for the comfort and wellbeing of their patients; drilling into un-numbed jaws, lack of prescribing appropriate pain meds after invasive surgeries, and dismissing patients' reports of pain levels. They failed to account for my lifestyle as a full time student and employee, and continually booked appointments throughout my semesters despite having a significant 2-3 hour drive in order to get to them. They were unwilling to refer me to an office that was closer to my university and insisted on me coming back for more appointments and surgeries over the course of a year. I did not feel taken care of, respected, or listened to at this office. If you are looking for quality dental care please for the love of god go to another office.

Want a nice fair place to get healthcare w/o insurance? Oh man, this is not the place. Go literally anywhere else.

Unbelievably scary experience, if I could leave 0 stars I could. There I was just getting some basic work done (getting a bad tooth pulled), when suddenly LeFraud bursted into the room! No one even asked him to leave or what he was doing, the staff just watched as LeBum ran up to me and yanked out all of my gold teeth! SHAME ON YOU, LEBUBBLE GUPPY!

This office staff was very rude and tried to make us pay BEFORE any work was done!! They were very condescending toward me and my child. We will be finding a new office who respects their clients.

"Painless dentistry" is NOT an option here. After waiting for HOURS in the waiting room, they numbed my mouth for a procedure, waited another long period of time until my mouth was no longer numb, and then proceeded to drill into my jaw. It took literal begging to get any sort of relief for the pain. Zero bedside manner, zero professionalism, what I'm gathering as zero knowledge of dentistry in general. They told me I must be "having a bad day"....insane. Overall, do NOT waste your money on these people if you want something done properly and painless.

Already posted a review of my experience here, but I'd like to point out that quite a few of the 5 star reviews for this place were posted by employees of the office. Seems fishy to me. Steer clear of this place!

save your money and your time by going to a dentist that actually shows care and respect for their patients. I quite literally would rather do my own dental work than bring my needs to this place, as I think it would be a less painful and humiliating experience.
