Dr. Elias is an orthodontic specialist who remembers wanting to be a dentist long before she really understood what went into a dental career! During her teenage years, she learned how valuable a beautiful smile was and how it could effect one's self-esteem, self-confidence, and overall quality of life.
Dr. Elias' academic career and training is diverse. She completed an undergraduate and graduate degree in Materials Science & Engineering at The Ohio State University. Motivated by an interest in research and dentistry, she went on to earn a Doctor of Dental Medicine and a Ph.D in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Connecticut. Her training gives her a unique understanding of the materials, mechanics, and bone biology invaluable to orthodontic tooth movement.
After dental school, Dr. Elias completed her postgraduate training and earned a M.S. and Certificate in Orthodontics from The Ohio State University. The training she received was comprehensive and involved collaborate work with the oral surgeons to treat orthognathic surgical cases, craniofacial teams to treat patients with cleft palate, and restorative dental specialists to give people the smile of their dreams. After her formal training, she worked in private practice treating children, teenagers, and adults and also served as a part-time faculty at the UT Health School of Dentistry. Dr. Elias relocated to Michigan in 2018 and is privileged to offer orthodontic care to the Macomb and Wayne communities. In practice, she utilizes many techniques and appliances including expanders, mini-implants, traditional braces, esthetic ceramic braces, lingual braces, among others.
She is active within the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and local dental organizations. Through participation with these organizations, she consistently exceeds state mandated continuing education requirements with the goal of providing the best care and experience for you and your family.
Dr. David Bartolovic is originally from Windsor, Ontario. He is a Michigan Board Certified prosthodontist who has been practicing dentistry in the Metro Detroit area since 2004. Prosthodontists are experts in the restoration and replacement of teeth they make smiles look beautiful and function the way they should.
Dr. Dave attended the University of Windsor where he earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree with a major in Biology. He is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (D.D.S.) in 2000. He went on to pursue further education at Indiana University School of Dentistry, obtaining his Prosthodontics Certificate in 2003 and a Masters of Science Degree in Dentistry (M.S.D.) in 2005.
Dr. Dave is currently on the Michigan Dental Association Peer Review Committee for the specialty of prosthodontics, and is very involved in organized dentistry. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Oakland County Dental Society, the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, and the American College of Prosthodontists. Dr. Bartolovic has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education, focusing on cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry. He completed the surgical implant dentistry curriculum at the Hands On Training Institute in London, Ontario, and has also obtained extensive training at Montefiore Hospital in New York, becoming certified in both oral and I.V. conscious sedation.
From a young age, Dr. Dave knew dentistry was his calling. He has an absolute love for his profession and is completely devoted to taking care of each and every one of his patients with the utmost care and concern.

Just had my 13 year old son in for cleaning and exam. Todays visit reminded me why we take our kids here. Ms Vicky is friendly, calming and clearly passionate and knowledgeable about her job. She explained why brushing gums is also important and her tone allowed my son to take it serious without feeling scared or bad.

I'm so glad that my dentist retired and was lucky enough to get referred to Pointe Dental Group. They are definitely the best around and a 1 stop shop! Erika, Ally, Maria, Dr. Elias, Dr.Arash, Dr. Dave, Heather, and Kathy are the best in customer service and experience. Well everyone there is awesome. I highly recommend making a appointment today.

Alli has been my orthodontic assistant since I started treatment over a year ago. I was so nervous and scared, but she put my mind at ease and now I look forward to coming to my appointments and she does an amazing job!!!!

I highly recommend Pointe Dental Group. The office is very clean and EVERYONE is so welcoming and friendly. I have been going for as long as I can remember for my pearly whites...and when my children came of age for their first dental visit, I didn't hesitate to book their appointments there as well. Dr Chris and Alli went above and beyond the norm for my son who was nervous and displayed such patience and warmth when a sugarbug was discovered and a filling was needed. They do such a phenomenal job, I truly can't say enough.

Dr. Elias and Alli are a splendid group for my Invisalign trays and are always friendly when I come in. I would definitely recommend for both of them to get raises! I strongly recommend for any person trying to get there teeth fixed!

Staff were very friendly. Ally and Dr Chris were very kind and front staff were energetic and helpful. The only reason I'm rating lower is that appointments often took much longer than planned and I ended up with a root canal after a filling appointment which left me with an extremely high, unexpected bill. 5 stars for the staff, 3 stars for the actual procedure experience.

Dr. Elias and Alli are amazing. I had a very challenging case and they solved all my issues. They also have worked well will my kids and made beautiful smiles for the whole family! They also helped me get the most out of my insurance benefits.

Was seen by Dr. Latcham a few times. Needed quite a bit of work and I put a lot of confidence in him because of his confidence but realize it was all a show. First off, he overbooks himself. I never had an appointment were he wasn't rushing between multiple patients so I never truly felt a personal connection. Second, he was quick to suggest that I have 3 teeth pulled and vaneers with a quick follow up for a bridge which I later found out, he doesn't offer personally so after, I was hung out to dry. Third, he was quick to send a $45 bill to collections after 3 months which we later found out was indeed paid but after I paid the collection agency already. In short, if like me, you are looking to get work done and want to get a plan to fix everything no matter the cost, pointe dental is not the place to go. They will let you down Oh, and one of those vaneers I got fell out just 1 year later after I was told they last 10+ years. Latcham put in a unmatched cheap vaneer as a quick fix with no remorse and said I would have to come back to get a no impression done because he was too busy to do it then. I thought it was covered under warranty but that was why he charged $45 to which ended up going to collections...
