Dentistry is not just about teeth, its about treating people.The comfort level of those in my care is a prime concern. I will strive to meet the dental needs of those in my care. Predictable outcomes and obtaining healthy and functional smiles is important to me.
Dr. Cal received his DDS at theUniversity of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistryin 2004. Because the practice of dentistry involves lifelong learning, much time is invested in continuing education and with seeking ways to improve the care provided. It is important to Dr. Cal to provide high standards in dental care. This includes detailed exams, diagnosis, and careful consideration of the patients needs in the treatment planning process.
Dentistry is about treating people and not just teeth. It is about their health and their ability to smile. My patients deserve the best diagnosis I can offer. If I am settled with what already know as a practitioner, then I am doing a disservice to those in my care. I am responsible for learning new practices, techniques, and skills for more predictable outcomes. I want to provide healthy, functional, and comfortable smiles for my patients.
Dr. Cal is married to Kimberly and they have three children: Ryan, Liam, and Miranda. His family is in New Baltimore, MI. They attend Crossroads Community Church in Utica, MI. He enjoys spending time with his family, canoeing, fly fishing, and riding his motorcycle.
After extensive research for a new dental practice for a second opinion on a troublesome 3- crown bridge, and close to home I decided on Pointe Village Dental. They had all 5 Star reviews that really impressed me & my wife, and now Im glad I did, Dr. Cal & staff were extremely professional, very concerned for my comfort level and their price pointe was fair & competitive, and my new 3- crown bridge fits like a glove and my mouth hasnt felt this good in 5-6 years. After extensive research for a new dental practice for a second opinion on a troublesome 3- crown bridge, and close to home I decided on Pointe Village Dental. They had all 5 Star reviews that really impressed me & my wife, and now I'm glad I did, Dr. Cal & staff were extremely professional, very concerned for my comfort level and their price pointe was fair & competitive, and my new 3- crown bridge " fits like a glove" and my mouth hasn't felt this good in 5-6 years. I just had to leave a review. Dr. Cal and his staff are incredible. I can honestly say that he is the most thorough dentist I have ever been to. I have never been to a dentist that provides the quality of service that Dr. Cal does. His knowledge, patience and care is incredibly appreciated. If you are looking for a dentist that does "treat you like a number", then I would definitely recommend Point Village Dental!

Dr. Cal and his team are excellent. It's great to have a dentist that puts your comfort and well being first rather than hurry up and get the next patient in the chair. Would highly recommend.

We love this dentist!! My family came to Dr. Calvin about 5 years ago and so happy we found him. My husband tells everyone he will never go to another dentist. He has a bit of nervousness going to the dentist and never has had any anxiety going to Dr. Calvin!! He is great with the kids and also very easy to work with getting an appointment. Thank you Dr. Calvin it's hard to find a Dentist that makes you feel so comfortable!!!'
