My mission is to provide each patient with honest, effective care, and work collaboratively in order to help them reach their goals for dental appearance, health, and function. My patients can depend on me to present them with the education and options necessary to make well-informed decisions for ensuring lifelong oral health.
Dr. Solinger has studied cosmetic and advanced reconstructive dentistry at the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dentistry. He has also completed coursework in Shatkin F.I.R.S.T. (Fabricated Implant Restoration and Surgical Technique) mini dental implants and has extensive experience in orthodontics, root canals, restorations, and prosthetic dentistry.
Outside of the office, Dr. Solinger loves to spend time with his wife Arianna, their three kids, Jet, Jenica, and Jack, and their three cats. As a native Iowan, he is an avid Hawkeye fan and enjoys cheering them on in football, basketball, and wrestling.

The best practice I've been to! I've had several routine cleanings and procedures done by Dr. Solinger now & everyone, including technicians & front desk staff, is always so helpful and friendly. They definitely help put me at ease during my treatment & always make me laugh. Can't recommend them enough!!

They were able to get me in right away as a new patient, which was great. And everyone I talked to/interacted with was so friendly & personable (especially Maria)...almost felt like I had known them for years. It was such a pleasantly surprising dental experience & I'll definitely be going back for any of my dental needs :)

This was my first visit after a family member recommended Point Hope! My previous dentist stopped taking my insurance so it's been a year since I've been! Everything was great! My hygienist was fabulous! She took great care of me and all of my teeth/mouth issues! I think I found my new dentist and I highly recommend!

Beautiful office, superb staff & doctor is awesome but unfortunately this office is part of a large corporation. Had my exam, x-rays and cleaning which were great. Made another appointment for cleaning in April. I asked for pricing on the things that were needed and the corporation tried to screw me out of my money when they knew I was self pay. I know about what things and procedures cost so I knew immediately it was a rip-off. Then the nice lady tried to quote me another price which was lower......sorry I don't play such games. Deana is currently in the chair there and I've paid for her service as well. I've canceled my April appointment and we both will not be returning. I just need to find a smaller practice that provides good services at fair prices.....and we will. What a disappointment for first time patients. The only reason it's not a one star is because the doctor and his staff are awesome. Mark Coats

I was in bad shape and have no insurance. To make a long story short, Doctor Sol got me in asap and spent 3 full hours fixing me up. He encountered issues that he wasn't expecting and just handled it for me like a random root canal for example. He didnt even charge me, he just wanted to make me whole again. I was in serious never before pain and he made sure I was comfortable and at ease. He was so thorough that I could not even dream of receiving better care. In the end I have a Tom Cruise smile with his bridge work and no pain at all. He even made sure I had the proper meds to recover properly. Doctor Sol, if you ever see this, you have made a friend for life and I will be bringing the staff a loaded BBQ lunch soon as a small token of my appreciation for going above and beyond and beyond that even. Point Hope Dental is THE BESTEST!!!!!!!!

Wonderful service and very accommodating. Broke a tooth and they were able to set up an emergency visit quickly and allowed me to bring my 5 year old son due to schedule conflicts with my husband. Not only did they allow him to come to my appointment they were very kind and showed him everything they were doing to my teeth and even gave him a ballon they blew up from a surgical glove. I made an appointment to go have my teeth cleaned next. Will recommend my husband and neighbors give them a try.

Really like Dr. Solinger. He is Friendly and communicates my dental progress. Patricia is my hygienist that does my dental cleaning and check up. She is thorough and gentle. She is friendly, fun , and kind . I would recommend this practice to friends and family.

They were so helpful and kind to me. They treated me more like a friend than a customer, which greatly helped me get rid of any anxiety before going into the back. They worked with me on the price and even taught me about taking better care of myself and what I can do to affordably maintain my dental health. I HIGHLY recommend Point Hope Dental to anyone looking for dental care. I will absolutely be returning as a patient

Just moved here and of course had an emergency need of a dentist. Called and greeted by Courtney, who is very professional and helpful. Office is clean and well appointed. The dentist Dr Solinger was very knowledgeable and carrying. No wait time , office is well run. Would definitely recommend this practice.

Sidney steals the show at Point Hope! After 24 years of using military dental health clinics and seven years of searching for providers after retirement, this is the place. She is one of the best hygienists I ever had work on me. Then Dr. Solinger rolls in, gives me a quick look over and gets me out of there and back to my day. From the moment you first walk in with the excellent greeting and friendly staff until 25 minutes later and I'm heading out. Point Hope Dental is a home run in my book!

Been coming here for the past two years with my husband and our 3 kids. Last week my daughter had 2 fillings that I was really nervous about getting done. They are so good with kids taking their time to connect with them making the process fun for them. They even got my daughter involved in helping with the suction was the highlight of her trip. She didn't even feel the numbing and was a happy camper.
