Dr. Paolo Poidmore is a Sacramento-area native and graduate of Jesuit High School. After completing four years of undergraduate studies, four years of dental training, and 3 years of orthodontic training, Dr. Poidmore returned to his hometown to start his career. He received his bachelor of science degree from the University of San Diego in 2002. Dr. Poidmore then attended the University of Southern California where he received his dental degree in 2006, and finally he received his orthodontic specialty training under world-renowned orthodontist Dr. Anthony Gianelly at the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
In his free time, Dr. Poidmore enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf, BBQing, working out, going to church, studying theology, cooking, attending sporting events, and eating homemade Italian food!
Dr. Poidmore is up to date on the latest techniques and technologies and is incorporating them in order to provide the most efficient, highest quality treatment possible. Dr. Poidmores favorite aspect of orthodontics is the great variety of challenges presented by each individual patient and the detail and thought processes involved in determining the highest quality and most predictable outcome in each situation.
It keeps me thinking, he says. No two cases are the same. Each patient presents with a new puzzle to solve, but we do everything within our ability to make sure they all leave with a beautiful smile and new self-confidence no matter what road we took to get them there. I love sharing in the excitement of others as their smile is transformed. I have been so blessed to be able to do something that I love.

Dr Poidmore and his amazing staff always go out of their way to make you feel like family. They know more than just your name when you walk in the door. They take the time to get to know YOU and your kids - their sports, where they go to school, etc. Not to memention, Dr Poidmore is a community guy. He contributes to all of the local schools, teams, and fundraisers. The front desk staff go out of their way to get appt times that work best in your schedule and always greet you with a smile - you can even tell it's there over the phone. Great office. Great staff. Great Dr.

I had braces back 5 years back and one of my retainers just broke. I was home for a short period of time and Poidmore was able to squeeze me in for an appointment to get new retainers within the week! I really appreciate the customer service!

We have been coming to Poidmore Orthodontics for 5 years. Dr. P. and his staff are like a second family. They have always given us the best possible experience and my daughter's teeth now look amazing! We would highly recommend Poidmore Orthodontics to anyone. My daughter was only 7 years old we we first started coming here and she was very scared of all doctors and dentists. The staff went out of their way to make her feel comfortable and safe. These folks really have a way with children. I am so glad that we found Dr. P for our braces journey.

Highly recommend Dr.Poidmore and his staff all are profesional and friendly. Me and my husband got our braces only weeks apart due to how well they treat me. The office as clean and based on the guidelines in place for Covid they have upped their cleaning and protocols. My son will be new in getting braces and I always make sure to recommend to anyone asking for braces or Invisalign.

I just moved 3 hours from my current orthodontist and called looking to switch my care. Melissa took lots of time to answer my questions and explain why I should consider Invisalign going forward if that is of interest to me. She was amazingly helpful and I look forward to meeting her in person.
