  • Anne Maresca EFDA Office manager/ Expanded Function Dental Assistant I have been with this practice since 1995. My journey started as a dental assistant and evolved into a licensed EFDA, while managing the practice and coordinating all aspects of patients dental care. Our office has a very friendly family atmosphere. Nothing makes me happier than having a patient feel at ease and comfortable, while addressing all their dental concerns. Outside of the office my favorite thing is cooking and trying new and different recipes. So if you have any good ones, please share. I am also the proud mother of two children with whom I enjoy spending time.

I can't say enough good, can't shower enough praise, can't sufficiently compliment Dr. John Mann and his entire staff at Pocono Pines Dental without timing out of this page before I'm finished! He is a talented dentist. Accomplished, kind, fair, analytic, insightfull, and generous, he has been my dentist for 9 years. Always, always, always he's done wonderful work. The result of every single instant of dental work, and there have been a substantial number of instants, has been excellent. The staff is, to a person, pleasant and knowledgeable. His assistant is terrific, so aware that I'm thinking she must be channeling Dr. Mann. I highly recommend Dr. Mann, and feel honored to be his patient!

This dentist and staff are absolutely the most professional and caring group you'll ever meet. They go above and beyond to keep patients safe during Covid-19 and are extremely sensitive and accommodating!

We have been going to Dr.Mann for many many years. I cannot say enough good things about him and his entire staff. I am an awful coward about the dentist but Dr.Mann is gentle, positive and caring. He listens and makes sure there is Never any pain. His assistant Ann -I feel like family with she is so caring. Covid is a scary time but in this office all precautions are taken and I feel as safe there as I would at home. Truly an exceptional dental practice.

I have been fortunate to be one of Dr. Mann's patients from day one. He is the only one who "does it all". I have always had excellent service, kind and friendly staff, and great results. Whether it was a filling, extraction, cap, or dental implant, all were done beyond my expectations. The best for me was getting my cap the same day since he uses a system in the office. To tell you how happy I am, I have moved 3 hours away, and keep him as my dentist. The best anywhere !!!!

Prior to my insurance changing, I would fly back to PA to visit family, and while there, I'd always schedule my cleanings at this office. A welcoming atmosphere. Exceptionally clean, gentle, understanding, thorough, and compassionate. Having super sensitive teeth and anxiety with dental work in general, I miss the level of comfort I'd have at this office. I never had to question his judgement or recommendations, nor have I ever felt like I was being spoken down to or rushed.

My family has been using this office for close to 10 years, and even after moving further away, we chose to drive the hour instead of switching dentist offices. Our kids ages 6 and 4 have been patients since 3 years old and the hygenists are very patient and know how to work with them, the TVs on the ceiling and in front of them also help! Additionally, Dr. Mann and his team go above and beyond with keeping their office "covid" safe and keeping up with technology and the newest latest and greatest procedures.

My daughter and I both see Dr. Mann. She had a horrible experience at Smiles4Keeps where she was essentially traumatized as a toddler. Dr. Mann and his staff were able to get her to be comfortable with seeing a dentist again. They are an amazing team and she now looks forward to going to the dentist.

Didn't get a chance to actually become a patient. My company is self insured and dental claims are paid by Premera Blue Cross out of Washington. Apparently, since this is not a "Dental Insurance" company they won't take the time to make a phone call and verify coverage. My coverage is pretty good so my company's and my money are going elsewhere. Its disappointing since we we are new to the area and were looking forward to becoming patients. Moving on...

Disappointed my bf has a serious tooth infection and they wont see him bc hes not a patient there. This is considered an emergancy even the lady on the phone said its life threatening and still wont take him. I just dont think that's right. Only positive thing I can say is they called us back quick.

If you need a dentist this is the one you should go to. You are made comfortable if you need blanket, pillow or want to watch TV there are 2...even one on the ceiling if you are lying down. The only thing missing is a glass of wine. Thank you

Second Chance- I went to this man when he first came to town 10 years ago -he was ignorant then so I stopped. Fast forward- 10 years give him a second chance. SPECIFICALLY stated I wanted to be in the room when he went over my husband, as we were going to be purchasing a full set of dental implants, and call me crazy but before I spend 14-20 thousand I kind of like to know what is going on. I too had an appointment an HOUR after my husband. WE get to the office- WE are the ONLY customers, they would not let me stand at the DOORWAY to discuss my husband's teeth. So we left- and i paid the $50.00 dollars each cancellation fee even though we were there so the dirt bag can't bad mouth me. NEVER AGAIN STAY AWAY he is just a horrible doctor. MOST of the locals feel this way they just won't post anything.
