Patrick has an intensity and contagious energy about him, said Music Department Chair Dr. Shandra Helman. He is just as accomplished a performer as he is a conductor and teacher. This combined skill set is so very valuable to the arts and music education.
Young comes to Pocatello from Young Harris College in Georgia, where he has been Assistant Professor of Music and Director ofBands, Low Brass. He has also been Director of Music at Elijay First United Methodist Church where he worked with choirs and directed music programs.
Youngs instrumental studies include tuba, trombone and bass trombone, euphonium, and trumpet. He has been a guest artist and clinician, performing and masterclass teacher. He has taught musicians who have been performance competition winners, and students who have gone on to professional music careers.
He holds a DMA in tuba performance and pedagogy from the University of Colorado Boulder with additional studies in instrumental conducting; an MM in tuba performance from the University of Georgia ; and a BME from Young Harris College with additional studies in instrumental and vocal conducting.
As a vocalist, Young brings his experience as Director of Music at Elijay First United Methodist. His performance experience includes principal tuba at Opera Colorado. and he is a freelance tubist on call to play with the Colorado Ballet, the Colorado Symphony, and the Atlanta Symphony.

I can not say enough wonderful things about Pocatello Family Dentistry. Over the course of the last three years, they have transformed my embarrassing teeth into a beautiful smile. Every Doctor, assistant, and office staff were nothing but AMAZING. You will be glad you chose them.

I needed some emergency work done on a bad tooth, and Chris is absolutely wonderful! She called me as soon as they had an opening. She has been so kind and understanding throughout this whole process. Everyone from Family Dentistry has been awesome. Dr Hamblin is a great dentist, and Dr Mooney is a complete hoot! My experience has been 5 stars all the way!

The front desk worker Chris (female) is a very unprofessional person to talk to. Telling me that i am in the wrong and that she does not want to schedule me an appointment because of the questions i was asking. I could not even get an appointment scheduled because of how cross she was towards me. She kept putting me on hold every 2 minutes. I was just needing a wisdom tooth extraction and was asking questions to ease my worries and she continued to get really frustrated with me and was huffing and puffing on the phone. Really left me agitated. After the last time on hold she told me that I'm not a good fit for their office. MIND YOU I HAVE NOT BEEN SEEN OR EVEN HAD X-RAYS. She told me she did not want to deal with me and hung up. I called back until a male doctor answered and he wrote my info to "give" to his supervisor Bryan Crawford is what he said the name was. He did not ask me any questions, he told me that I cannot Demand an appointment when I simply wanted to schedule an appointment and he kept repeating that they will not help me or see me and that my complaint will maybe be followed up on. If this is how they treat people BEFORE AN EXAM. Imagine what they will do to you during the exam. Way to ease peoples worries.

I haven't been a patient here, but the call alone was awful. The first time I called I talked to a sweet woman. She explained what the clinic was and how it worked. I had planned to make my husband and me an appointment, but since he's an ISU student, I had to wait on his schedule for the semester. I called today and it was DEFINITELY not the woman from before. Whoever it was, was hateful. She didn't know me from Adam, but talked to me like I had ruined her day and was as dumb as a brick. I also knew it'd be awhile before we could get in. I didn't figure the appointment would be next week or anything. My husband needs quite a bit of dental work but he'll have to wait longer than we figured. Hopefully the first one I talked to is still around and others who call for an appointment have better luck than me.
