Dr. Po is a general dentist who enjoys all aspects of dentistry. She is particularly interested in family and cosmetic dentistry, including veneers and teeth whitening. Dr. Jen, as she likes to be called, believes that dental health is an intricate part of a person's overall health.
Dr. Po earned her US dental degree at Tufts University in Boston, Massachussetts. Before coming to the US, she finished her dental degree in her native Philippines at the University of the East. For a short time, she also practiced dentistry in Taiwan. After finishing at Tufts, she practiced general dentistry in Waterville, Maine. When she moved to Pennsylvania in 1997, she worked in various dental offices in Lancaster county.
Dr. Po opened her own practice in April of 2004. She is pleased to be serving the dental needs of families located in Lancaster and surrounding communities. Among her different services, she performs dental implants, veneers, crowns and bridges. She has worked with patients as young as two and as mature as 100.
Dr. Po has been married to Charles Ong since 1997, and together, they are raising their two boys in their Manheim Township home. In her life outside of dentistry, she is a follower of Jesus Christ, a member of Calvary Church and enjoys cuisines from all around the world.
Dr. Po is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Lancaster County Dental Society, Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry and the Pennsylvania Dental Association. To keep up with the latest in dental technology and treatments, Dr. Po is constantly updating her skills and knowledge by attending continuing education courses, most notably from the world acclaimed Spear Education in Scottsdale, AZ. She also regularly attends the local chapter of the Spear Dental Study Club.
Dr. Lydia Baird originally hails from the Montgomery County area of PA. Dr. Baird graduated cum laude from Grove City College in 2007 with a BS in Molecular Biology. During her time there, she was awarded the Trustee Academic Scholarship.
She attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 2011. While at Pitt Dental, Dr. Baird founded the Asian Pacific American Dental Student Association and was an active member of the Student National Dental Association. She was also a member of the American Student Dental Association.
Upon graduation, Dr. Baird began a one year general practice residency at the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic through Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She is a current member multiple professional dental societies. Dr. Baird has also completed a mini residency from 2018-2019 at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Baird's treatment philosophy is to encourage patients to view their oral health, their TMJ and muscular health, and their airway health as an integral part of their overall health. The connection of our bodies to our mouths is constantly being demonstrated through scientific research. She is also particularly passionate about helping mothers and babies connect better through breastfeeding by offering lip and tongue frenectomies because of her own experience with her babies.
A member of Wheatland Presbyterian Church, Dr. Baird is thankful for the many blessings she, her husband, and her children have experienced upon moving to beautiful Lancaster County. She enjoys spending time connecting with her family and other people in general, biking with the family and doing karate, seeing Jesus love and bless people, and trying delicious food experiences.
