At Presbyterian Medical Services, we believe that the best way to improve community health and wellbeing is for everyone to work together. Thats why we work collaboratively with community groups, school districts, local providers, hospitals, and governments at every level. Together, we develop programs and services that meet the needs of the people living within these communities, and we continue expanding into communities that invite our involvement.

Presbyterian Medical Services has achieved Joint Commission accreditation and Primary Care Medical Home (PCMH) certification. The organization has also achieved Bronze status from the Health Center Advocacy Network (ACE).

To make the greatest impact possible, we concentrate our resources on meeting the needs of underserved areas of New Mexico. All told, we operate approximately 100 programs in communities throughout the state. Many of the individuals served by Presbyterian Medical Services live at or below the federal poverty level.

The National Health Services Corps (NHSC) selected Presbyterian Medical Services as a model site for NHSC scholars and loan repayment recipients. Click below to watch PMS staff describe the mutually beneficial relationship between Presbyterian Medical Services and NHSC. Providers who are interested in these benefits at PMS should contact Kai Clough, Provider Recruitment Supervisor, 1-800-477-7633, ext. 3496, email.

When you donate to Presbyterian Medical Services, you support our mission. Since 1969, we have kept our promise to care for those in need regardless of their ability to pay. Your donation to the Presbyterian Medical Services Foundation provides you with an opportunity to invest in our communities in a way that will care for the sick, help young children, and support senior citizens.

Each year, Presbyterian Medical Services serves thousands of patients at our community health centers all over New Mexico by providing medical care, behavioral health, and dental services. Those who are uninsured can receive care on a sliding fee scale based on income.

Diane Martinez is the Executive Director of the Presbyterian Medical Services Foundation and the Vice President of Human Resources and Administration for Presbyterian Medical Services based at corporate headquarters in Santa Fe. Diane has long been active in community affairs, serving on a wide variety of Boards, including the Spanish Colonial Arts Society, the Governors Children of Legacy Fund and Hospital Services Corporation. Diane earned her bachelors degree in Business Administration and Management and is a graduate of Leadership New Mexico.

The leadership of Presbyterian Medical Services is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of New Mexicans across the state. Our Leadership Team, as well as the entire Presbyterian Medical Services workforce, believes in the organizations mission and find it hugely rewarding to do a job that they love while knowing that it makes a difference in peoples lives. They recognize the critical importance of providing quality healthcare, childrens services, and social services to those that would otherwise not have access to such vital programs.

This office provides mental health, dental, and general. The dental staff is always very kind but the front staff is never nice. Both receptionists act as though you are inconveniencing them just by being there, being nice to them does not get you the same response back. The doctors are thorough but getting an appointment can sometimes take weeks. Communication between staff and doctors is not the best.
