Rachels legendary smile has been a fixture of our front desk for many years. As our Office Manager, Rachel has exceptional knowledge in all areas of the dental field, and strives to make your patient experience far simpler.
Kara has been with Plymouth General Dentistry for over sixteenyears (having joined our team while in high school). Her warm smile and contagious laughter are key components in helping our patients to relax. Kara enjoys putting our patients at ease, and seeing the beautiful smiles that are created.
Marilyn joined our team in February of 2016. Her vocation has been in the dental workforce since 2000, and brought with her a vast amount of knowledge when it comes to coordinating visits with our patients.
Why do you love working atPGD? Its such a positive atmosphere different than any place Ive ever worked. We work hard but make it fun too. Everybody is a team player that wants the best for the office and their patients. Dr. K is a wonderful boss who really makes the staff feel like members of her family.
How important is your smile to you? My smile is super important to me. Its a huge part of how I communicate and interact with people. I take pride in my smile because a healthy mouth is essential to overall health.

I went in as a new patient for a cleaning with one of their hygienists, Amber. All of the staff was so sweet and very welcoming. They definitely made me feel comfortable and at home. Amber was great, very gentle and thorough. I came in happy and left even happier. They have a great team and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I've been going to them for 28 years. I get my teeth cleaned every 6 months and I get my x-rays done. I take really good care of my teeth so I don't need anything Else Done . They are very professional.

Plymouth General Dentistry, Dr. Kirshner, and her entire team are so wonderful!! Today, I met with the newest hygienist, Amber for my teeth cleaning. She was so professional, polite, and did a very thorough job. The office setting is also very ideal and beautifully decorated! Overall, hands down, the best dentistry around!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Amber was beyond AMAZING!!! I had absolutely no pain during or after my cleaning! Dr. K was so nice and down to earth. The receptionist was very welcoming and everyone was so professional. Dr. K and Amber went above and beyond getting me approved for 4 cleanings a year and a fluoride treatment. I can't wait for my next appointment. So glad I switched!!

Like most people, going to the dentist was never something I looked forward to. But this practice changed all that. The team is very professional and immediately you can tell they all work together very well. Dr. Kirschner is so friendly and I feel at ease discussing my necessary treatment as well as options available. I would give this practice ten stars if it were available. They are like a family and I'm so glad to be part of it!

ZERO STARS IF I COULD... went to this place recently, had a full set of x-rays and consult. I had composites in my front teeth that were in place for a very long time and during my chemotherapy treatments, they had started to breakdown, I was in need of repair and chose this place for the convivence of dental insurance and location to home. I had what I thought was a very nice visit and during my consult was given two options of having composites or porcelains done, when I went to check out, the receptionist only gave me pricing info for porcelains so, I asked for the pricing for composites and basically, I was told the dentist was not willing to do composites, so no pricing was given... I asked to speak to dentist and basically based on her opinion thought that the long-term procedure was best for me and there for not willing to do the other procedure of composites... I feel that it was pretty dam lousy for her to give me options but then not offer both as a service... Options, but no option, she chose for me and that was that! My insurance, my money, my mouth...I don't get people like this, all she was interested in was her bottom line of $$$ Waste of my time and my use of my insurance (one exam, one set of x-rays per year...) How dare she think that this is, ok? I was able to have x-rays forwarded, but my insurance paid for exam, so I in turn had to pay an exam fee at another dentist... That is not a place service for me...ever! Comparison cost with my dental coverage come to find out and since had done... Composits - $187 Porcelains - $4000

The climate of this dental practice is amazing! Everyone is warm & friendly. One feels very comfortable as soon as you enter the building. The staff, dental folks and Dr. Joan Kirschner are genuinely sincere and want you to feel at ease. When it comes to the "patient experience" Plymouth General Dentistry has "it"!

I have lived in and received dental care in 8 states. I have been to 2 other offices in NH before I landed at Plymouth General Dentistry. They are head and shoulders above the rest. I have never had a better experience. They are friendly, easy to work with, flexible and give the best care. I will always recommend them to anyone, even if your drive is far, it is worth the trip.

Recommend 10+/10!!! 25 years was the last time I saw a dentist. The feelings and emotions of the thought was gut wrenching. Thank you Jen, Thank you Dr K!! What an absolute blessing to have met such wonderful group!! Thankful beyond words to how courteous and professional the whole office team is. I have numerous issues to deal with as you can only imagine. I am fully confident and look forward to my future visits to bring my smile back!! Note: I was able to get in right away after having to go to urgent care for an infection, and not having insurance. Not only did they help me with every way professionally, and personally, it has all been done in such an expedited manner! All around just so thankful and appreciative! See you soon!! :)
