General dentistry encompasses various disciplines and includes procedures such as preventive oral care and restorative treatments. In addition, different aspects of pedodontics, periodontics, endodontics and prosthodontics along with oral surgery may be practiced and combined within the treatment plan. Many general practitioners implement the use of cosmetically oriented methods to enhance the aesthetics of the teeth.
Arlene is our practice manager. She was a senior buyer for a large corporation and after moving to St. George in 1996, she tolda dentist she could save him money. 25+ years later she is still in the dental field. In her spare time youll find her reading, hiking, camping, or at the ocean.
We would like to welcome Dr J. Taylor Workman DDS to the Plumb Dental team.He is a general dentist with advanced training in cosmeticsmile design, cosmetic and implant restorations, as well as bite alignment.
Brandi has been a dental hygienist since 1998. She loved studying sciences in school and working with people. In her spare time she is a travel agent which works well for her because she loves to travel, go to Disneyland and go boating.
Aubrey worked in the front office for 16 years, and at the end of 2020 decided to hang up her heels and put on scrubs as one of our hygiene assistants. She also does our marketing. When shes not working youll find her in the yoga studio or anywhere outdoors.
Stepanie is our lead dental assistant. She started in the dental field as the office manager assistant to pay for medical school. In 2005, she started assisting and fell in love with helping patients. When shes not caring for patients, shes at the ball fields watching her son and husband, reading, or spending time with her daughter.
Taylor is our front office lead. Shes got a passion for the medical field but isnt a fan of blood, so this gives her the best of both worlds. She is a creator. When shes not here, she is making pretty much anything you could imagine.
Hollee is our insurance coordinator. Shes been a dental assistant as well as front office since about 2009. You wont see her out and about when shes not at work because she enjoys lounging at her house.
Ann is our treatment coordinator. She was recruited by a dental management firm in 2013. She brings a vast knowledge of oral surgery, dental implants and enjoys helping patients reach their dental goals. In her free time she enjoys off-roading, boating, hiking, volleyball, pic and working out.
Debbie is our doctors coordinator and brings with her 30 years of dental office experience including insurance, marketing and customer service. She started in the medical field part-time and then accepted a position in the dental field full-time and found she loved it! In her free time she loves to be with her family, especiallywith her grandkids, as well as golfing, playing pickleball and singing.
Diane is the smiling face that greets you as you enter Plumb Dental. She is our patient coordinator and started in the dental field in 2020. She left a medical career to adventure to something new in the dental field. She loves to dance and clogging is a talent she developed as a young girl and then taught dance for 8 years. She loves to hike, cook, craft, read and spends time playing with her grandkids.
Kassie has been in the dental field since 2019. She really wanted to help people smile and proud to. She has two uncles that are dentists so being a dental assistant seemed fitting. When shes not working here full time, shes with her friends and family at rodeos or her ranch.
Piper has been a dental assistant since 2017. She grew up helping her dad who is a dentist so it only seemed fitting for her to enter the field as well. Piper loves to hostess game nights and take naps.
Patty has been a dental assistant since the early 90s. She brings years of experience with her and were so fortunate to have her with us. She is well rounded enjoying hiking, travel, shopping, reading, movies, golf, crafting, and the beach.
Kate is one of our hygiene assistants, part time as she pursues her career in dental hygiene at DSU, where is also an ambassador for the school. Kate joined the dental field in 2019. She heard that Plumb Dental was one ofthebest dentalofficestowork at and after working here she switched fields from nursing to dental hygiene. She likes to play tennis,pickleball and cheering on the Utes with her dad.
Curtis is one of our dental assistants part-time as he pursues a career in the medical field as a future doctor. He was been in the dental field since 2017 and loves assisting on surgical procedures. He loves to have fun with his friends and is a prankster. He taught he blind friend to ride a bike. His witty humor keeps us laughing.
Originally from San Diego, he studied Zoology at Brigham Young University and married Kari Meyer, after serving an LDS Mission in Northern Spain. He attended New York State University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, and later worked as an associate in western New York where he was featured as one of the top 50 Healthcare Providers by Buffalo Business First.

Had a wonderful experience here. They took me on a whim to get my tooth repaired ! The dentist did an amazing job and is very well mannered. All the ladies are sweet, very comfortable environment!

I had a wonderful experience at Plumb Dental. All of the staff was extremely nice and patient with me. They always explained what they were doing, and made sure that I was comfortable. My mom recommended them, and now I do too. Especially if you get nervous, or you're embarrassed because you haven't been to a dentist in a while. Everybody here is very nice and professional.

Dr Plumb and Dr Workman are both excellent! Their staff is kind and knowledgeable and I feel like I'm really being taken care of. I have never had a negative experience at their office and look forward to many positive ones in the future!!

This was the best experience I've ever had at a dentist! The staff is courteous, friendly, and even funny! (Piper! I got u boo!) I finally feel like the smile I want is actually attainable and they are making it happen! I genuinely want to thank everyone there for making me feel so comfortable and at ease.

I'm very pleased with making the change to Dr. Workman at Plumb Dental late last summer. They do it all at Plumb Dental, it's like a one stop shop for all your dental needs. I'm old enough, and remember when it took 3 separate appointments for one procedure when I was younger. Now it's one appointment and done because the technology they have in house is cutting edge. I watched a movie on Netflix at one of my appointments! Their patient care and friendliness extend from the moment you walk in to every single employee you see. Everyone has a smile on their face. I truly appreciate how they explain any financial expectation, also. Ann took the time for me without asking, to dig into my out of pocket cost by calling my insurance company right away. I feel like my interests are protected and at the very least I'm well informed. They're staffed enough that they have time for all their patients needs. Truly the best in St. George, if not all of Utah!

Great first visit to Plumb Dental today. All of the staff were super friendly, especially the admin staff which impressed me! The staff were not wearing masks which I didn't like, but if you ask they will put a mask on while working with you. Pandemic aside, we are very happy to have found a great new dentist office.

I went to Plumb Dental to have a crown made in order to save a tooth and avoid the possibility of a root canal. Like most people, I hate getting shots, especially in my mouth. When Dr Workman told me that he could do it painlessly, I thought, "Nope, that's impossible." Fortunately that thought was incorrect. I didn't feel anything more than him pulling on my cheek and I was in shock that it could actually be done painlessly. Bottom line: I highly recommend Plumb Dental for the quality of their work especially the attention paid to the patient's experience.

The doctor there is not considered to his patients pain. I had to be numbed for a cavity and i told him i could still could feel everything and he gave me 5 mins and i could still feel but he decided it didn't matter and proceeded to work on me, he asked if i could feel it and i told him i could, and he said well we are almost done anyway. I had to feel the entire process because of this doctor ignored his patients pain and continue on. Very dissatisfied and disappointed, i'm in a lot of pain now the day after.

Love love love Plumb Dental! Would recommend to any family or friends looking for an amazing dentist. Kandace is usually my hygienist and does an amazing job however the whole staff is always super welcoming and the office is top notch.
