Plumas Rural Health Center – Feather River Building - General dentist in Quincy, CA

Meet JoDee Read, Plumas District Hospitals Chief Executive Officer. JoDee grew up on a cattle ranch in a small town north of Madras Oregon where her father and brother continue to ranch. I am passionate about rural healthcare, relationships, collaboration, and horses, Read says. JoDee attributes these passions through her life experiences, living the sacrifices her parents made to ensure she and her siblings had bright futures, and her grandmother Betty Jean Johnson who encouraged her to see the best in people knowing you can do more together.

My daughter, Ashley Sutherland made an appointment to see the dentist 4 months ago. She has waited this entire time to see the dentist. Ashley suffers from painful and dangerous abscesses frequently. Ashley has called the dental clinic many times in the past 4 months asking if she could get in early in case someone may have canceled their appointments, but was unable to get on earlier. Today was Ashley's appointment. She called today to see if she needed to come in earlier to do any paperwork. She spoke with a very unprofessional, uncaring, and rude lady named Pat who told her they gave her appointment this afternoon to someone else since she did not confirm her appointment the day before. Ashley explained she doesn't have a phone, and our home phone only works part of the time due to the Dixie Fire. Pat said" too bad" and made her an appointment in May. What type of business does this? I have got reminders on my cell phone the day before an appointment but have never had to confirm them. Ashley did not miss her appointment. It was for later this afternoon. As far as I am concerned, PDH, with all of its improvements, can't seem to grasp the simple aspect of courteous patient care. I am starting to understand why there are so many travelers and so few local nurses and employees at PDH. The dentist himself is a kind, wonderful man. It's too bad that PDH allows this type of behavior that Pat displayed.

Dr. Garibotti is exceptional in his dentistry and we are lucky to have him! The entire dental team deliver an award-worthy patient experience that would be difficult to find even at the most expensive practices.

I enjoy every staff member in the clinic. They are all incredibly kind and understanding people. Dr. G is by far the best dentist that has been there and I'm greatful for his knowledge and care.
