We are conveniently located in the heartof downtown Palatine in afreestanding building at thecorner of Colfax and Plum Grove Roads. The Palatine train station is within walking distance, and we also have ample parking in the lot behind our building.
We are available for you. In addition to our convenient, regular office hours, we also have a 24-hour answering service. In the event of an emergency, you are able to contact us to receive the attention you need.

Joining Plum Grove DentalCenter in 1993, Dr. Bernero is proud to celebrate more than 20 years of creating beautiful smiles and lasting friendships with his patients. He and his team pride themselves on providing the highest quality, most comfortable dental care in a state-of-the-art environment. In addition to general family dentistry, Dr. Bernero places a special emphasis on orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry and implant restoration. Dr. Bernero was recently named one of the Chicago area's top dentists by Chicago Consumers' Checkbook.
A graduate of DePaul University and the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, Dr. Bernero served as president of the U of I Dental Student Council and was honored with the top student leadership award.
Dr. Bernero completed his residency at Northwestern Hospital and the Veterans Administration Lakeside Hospital, and he has also served as a faculty member at Northwestern University's Dental School. He has achieved more than 1,000 hours of continuing education.
When he's not conquering dental decay, Dr. Bernero can be found playing hockey, golf or tennis. He resides in Inverness, where he is active in the local community and has served on the Palatine Board of Health for over 10 years.

Dr Steve is very thorough, friendly and knowledgeable. Lisa is on the top of her game and has a great touch! I have been a patient for over 50 years...they are the best. Would highly recommend Plum Grove Dental Center!

Very thorough, efficient and patient-friendly staff. Dr. Bernero explained my treatment plan and has started the work. I am so pleased I chose Plum Grove Dental for a second opinion on a plan proposed by another nearby dental office. I have anxiety when visiting dental offices but am so comfortable and confident in the practitioners here. Dr. Bernero's assistant, Jayme worked seamlessly with him. What a TEAM! Love Plum Grove Dental! Dr. Goran Topalo is such a kind, gentle dentist and always puts you at ease! The hygienists that I have seen, Yolanda and Jill ,yesterday, are awesome, so thorough and my teeth always feel great after my cleaning! Dr. Topalo explains everything so well during his check up and I always have 100% confindence in him! I highly recommend Plum Grove Dental Center!!

Excellent. My mom is 94 years old and she had her teeth cleaned and checked. All of the staff greeted her and helped her an made her feel welcome and secure. Dr Luke was fantastic and the Dental Hygienist was great.

Both Gina, Natasha and Dr. Topolo are great at what they do. I had Natasha this time do to scheduling issues and she was thorough and proactive. Gina always does a great job and Dr. Topolo is very friendly and describes what he is doing and looking for.
