Dr Srikantam's interest in dentistry started with her childhood dental experiences. She pursued her interest and graduated from Government Dental College, Bangalore, India in 1998. She got licensed by the Dental Board of California in 2002. She has attended numerous courses and training programs at UCLA during her licensure process. She has practiced in various locations in the bay area and has found a permanent home in the Tri-Valley.
She loves both the art and science of dentistry .She constantly enrolls in continuing education programs to keep herself updated with the latest in technology, material science and clinical skills. Her Practice philosophy is deep rooted in ethics, quality and compassion. She welcomes her patients to the comfort of her beautiful and luxurious office and uses state of the art digital technology to deliver high quality care to her patients. She wants to empower her patients with the education that will help them make confident and informed decisions. She listens and likes to build comfortable and meaningful relationships with her patients. Her goal is to provide a friendly and professional environment for the patients.
Dr.Srikantam is highly skilled and enjoys all phases of dentistry. Her special interests are Cosmetic and Implant dentistry. Dr. Srikantam is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Southern Alameda Dental Association . She loves spending her free time with her family and friends doing fun activities.
Dr. Zoreh Marashi moved to the Bay area in 2001 and her journey in the dental field started out with assisting in a dental office. She then decided to pursue studies in dental hygiene. She graduated from Chabot College in Hayward with AA degree in Dental Hygiene. After working for six years as a Dental Hygienist, she then went back to the University of California, Berkeley for a two-year post baccalaureate program. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the prestigious University of California San Francisco (UCSF).
As her journey indicates, Dr. Marashi is passionate about dentistry and believes in continuing to learn to be updated with the latest and best practices. Dr. Marashi is the member of American Dental Association, Contra Costa Dental Association and is a UCSF Alumni. Dr. Marashi believes in giving back to the community and has volunteered her services to San Francisco homeless community, refugees, and victims of domestic violence. She has also volunteered her services to people of Jamaica and Mexico. In her spare time, Dr. Marashi enjoys yoga, hiking, camping, and traveling. She loves animals and she has a cat named Hunter.

One of the aspects I enjoy most about my job is connecting with each of our patients and being there to take care of all their needs through compassion, understanding and commitment. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family and my 14 years old son.

I have been going to Pleasanton Smile for many years, and they do an excellent job. I recently had a lot of work done, including a root canal. At other dentist offices, it was extremely painful. The one Pleasanton Smile did didn't hurt one bit, I couldn't believe it. I don't have dental insurance, and they give a big discount if you don't have it. And most important they are extremely kind, caring people. Dr. Srikantam does an amazing job.

I went in for my routine dental hygiene visit knowing that at the previous visit the doctor had advised me that some work on a filling may be needed. At the present visit Dr. Srikantam not only took care of the hygiene work, but also repaired two very old fillings at the same sitting so as not to have me come back for another separate visit. The office strictly followed Covid protocols and the dental work was handled painlessly. I highly recommend this friendly and efficient dental office for your dentistry needs.

My root canal for couple of teeth on either side was done by Dr. Sowjanya in 2014 from this place. After that I moved to North East. In 2016 itself when I visited India, a dental doctor told me that root canal was not done correctly. In 2021, I lost one tooth to an infection because of the bad root canal and my current dentist is advising another root canal for the other one. If you need good root canal procedure, go somewhere else.

I've been putting off my dental cleaning that I usually get twice a year for fear of covid. My husband finally convinced me that I should go and not be worried, because he's been to the dental office at "Pleasanton Smile Dental", a few times this year and has felt quit safe and was impressed with all the steps being taken to keep the patients and Dentist safe. Well I concur after my visit today. Thanks to my wonderful dentist Sowjanya Srikantam and her friendly and efficient staff for taking care of me and making me feel comfortable and safe during my visit. Erma

Wonderful job with my cleaning routine. The doctor did a good job and the assistant was very helpful and gentle with the X-ray process. Definitely a good dentist for adults and kids. My daughter never cried there or walked afraid to see the dentist. Definitely recommend Pleasanton SmileDental.

Very rude and unprofessional dental office I've ever seen! I got 4 phone calls, 3 text messages and 4 emails before my appointment day! And last call was a day before, her name is Anna, she asked my SSN number because she can't find my insurance information which I gave it to them. Excuse me, do you really think I made an appointment and I can't afford it?! Or you guys think I will run away? Whatever I cancelled my appointment because they worry to much about your money, not about you or your oral health.
