An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I had a great experience visiting this office the staff was very kind. Annette was incredible in helping me find a payment option that suited my situation. As well as doctor Bal who provided me a very through examination. I also want to say thank you to Lauryn and krischiann who were the doctor's assistants and helped answer any tedious question I had. Highly recommend this place!

Amazing experience! I went in for my first appointment and had a great experience from start to finish. Kylie was very kind in answering all my questions and Dr. Bal was very knowledgeable and caring! I was also helped by Leslie the doctor's assistant, she was very kind and patient with me during treatment. I will definitely be coming back!

Dr. Bal was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. I was very pleased with the service! I also want to say thank you to Janis and Michelle who were friendly! Janis assisted the doctor in putting on my crown. She was very sweet and gentle during treatment. Michelle was also great and helped answer many of my questions! Great experience!

My initial visit was great. Everyone was professional and polite. We discussed payment options and insurance. We came to the conclusion that I would be a cash paying patient. I set up a complete payment plan with the office manager Kylie for half of the services. We went over what my monthly payments would be and everything! I was running late for my appointment. I called to see if it would be okay for me to come. I was advised that it would be ok, if I could make it within 30 minutes. I was prepared to pay the remainder amount to start the treatment, and I was asked for a credit card to secure payment. Again the assistant manager attempted to go over payment options with me all over again. I explained to her that we had already explored those options, and that I had already agreed on a payment plan. The front office clerks continued to try to get the full amount for the fees from me, even after I had explained to them that I already agreed to a payment plan. The Asst. manager then said they could do one extraction today, when I was scheduled to get two extractions, etc. Therefore I just canceled entire appointment, and asked for a refund. I don't know if she was upset that I was actually able to pay in cash, as she was very nonchalant and not accommodating at all. I don't understand why would some one with this kind of attitude be put into a leading position? She never looked at my chart or anything to see if what I advised her of was accurate, instead she'd rather give me my money back, so she's definitely not retention focused.

My dads review: Dr. Sidhu and Dr. Krischiann were amazing. They fixed an old root canal for me and during my second appointment, they had me in and out within 5 minutes, no pain meds, no injections, and no pain! It was a wonderful visit.

It's official, I've had the pleasure of being treated by the most wonderful Dentist and RDA in my 28 years of life so far. Dr.Khanna is an expert in her field, and it shines through in her work, the way she explains things, and her calming presence. She's incredibly receptive to feedback, and leaves you feeling good when you leave the dental chair. (And that's saying a lot for someone who doesn't like being at the Dentist.) Janis was wonderful off the bat from day one. She's very charismatic, extremely helpful, and asks wonderful questions. It doesn't just feel like you're talking to someone who's going through the motions, she really cares! Overall, the Pleasanton Ridge Dental Group seems to be a tight knit family of people who care about the jobs, each other, and their patients. If you're unsure where to get treated for dental, question yourself no further, come here. It's good stuff. -Desheay

FANTASTIC. EXTRAORDINARY. Service is impeccable. Place is clean. People are nice. Work done (root canal) went superb. Starting with the reception by Annette who is kind, attentive and provided me with great service when she open me the doors to Pleasanton Ridge Dental, to Dr. Cross, whose expertise is evident but also his attentiveness, to Dr. Sidhu mastery and care for me (even financial), to Krischiann, who was also very caring + nice ( and I am forgetting the names of other folks who also provided me with great service), all is great about this human beings in this place. From start to finish, a welcome experience!! Most memorable is Annette at office management/reception. She's highly responsive, accommodating, and nice. They all spend quality time with you from booking your next appointment to billing questions and check ups! They remember your name and dental history!! They also offer follow on advice so there's no fishing on your end! I drive from Monterey, CA to see Dr. Khanna and her staff in Pleasanton, CA! They've been exceptionally responsive and respectful during my pregnancy and dental needs.

Always a great experience at Pleasanton Ridge. Quick, Easy, and professional. The Dental Assistant, Lauryn was great, she did x-rays really well and overall did a lot during the appointment, the dentist, Dr. Bal really got into my gums and cleaned my teeth well. I live up in Washington, but I will continue coming back down to this dental group for teeth cleanings. Highly recommend!
