Dr. Ihab M. Hanna graduated, with honors, in 1994 from Cairo University. Afterwards, he spent three years in training and hospital residency . He completed two years of General practice residency ( 1998-2000 ) at the University of Illinois , as a chief resident, where he acquired additional training in Dental Implants, sedation and special care dentistry.
Dr. Janet Tanega received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.D.M)/Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) at Centro Escolar University in Manila, Philippines in 1988. Upon arriving in the United States, Dr. Tanega worked as a dental assistant for several years as she studied to obtain her California Dental License. With the future of her family in mind, Dr. Tanega made all the necessary sacrifices; and in 1996 she received the California Dental License. But, this accomplishment was only a stepping-stone in her climb to success.
In March of 1997, Dr. Tanegas dream came true when she opened Tanega Professional Dental Corporation in South San Francisco. Her successful practice growth over the 16 years of practicing dentistry gave Dr. Tanega recognition on KRON 4, Best of the Bay edition as San Mateo Countys best general dentist.
In order to provide her patients with the best service possible, Dr. Tanega regularly attends multiple seminars a year to continue her education in general, orthodontic, and cosmetic dentistry as well as implant surgery. She is a seasoned expert in the practice of orthodontics (among other services) and has been practicing orthodontics since 1998, and in 2012 she has become a certified preferred provider for Invisalign. Dr. Tanega is also a member of the America Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental Association (CDA), The San Mateo County Dental Association (SMCDA), and the International Congress of Oral Implantologist (ICOI).
These days, she enjoys spending her free time with her husband of 31 years, Richard, four children Helene, Richard Jr., Reece, and Raymond, and her three grandchildren, Darien, Jeffrey Jr., and Jayda-Rae and her three dogs, Coco, Wags, and Bella. In addition to spending time with her family, she enjoys living a healthy lifestyle by staying active and by traveling as often as she can.
He had attended Occidental College in Los Angeles, received his medical degree from Tulane Medical School in New Orleans, Louisiana, and completed his specialty training in anesthesia at Stanford University Hospital in Palo Alto.
He had joined the clinical faculty of the Stanford resident training program in anesthesia at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center after completing his post-graduate training. With the exception of several years in Southern California where he was recruited to develop anesthesia services for a heart surgery program, he has practiced in the San Francisco Bay area.
His experience includes delivery of anesthesia for all major surgical subspecialties including cardiac, neuro, high-risk obstetrical, pediatric, spinal cord, burn, major orthopedic and multiple trauma surgeries. His current practice is devoted to providing office-based anesthesia for outpatient surgical and dental procedures. He is licensed by both the Medical and Dental Boards of California to provide anesthesia services.

I received my Coronal Polish Certificate at the Pleasanton Dublin Dental Center (Redwood City Dental Institute) today! I learned so much taking these 2 classes. Thank you so much Maryam. I will be back soon. I highly recommend anyone who has to get Coronal Polishing Certificate to come here.

It was a great experience getting my teeth fixed and cleaned in Dublin Dental Center. The doctors are very professional and the staff are very friendly. My dental hygienist was very gentle and nice through out the cleaning procedure.

Very friendly and professional at the same time which is rare these days. They walked me through all the details and precautions and helped me a lot. And the doctor was so professional and well-experienced and I am going to only Pleasanton Dental center because customer care is my first choice whatever I go. Awesome.

I started this journey for implants fighting it all the way. I am blessed to have found a dentist and his assistants that are caring, kindly patient and so very knowledgeable in the implant field.l We're now in June and I got to Pleasanton Dublin Dental Center for a delayed teeth cleaning due to C-19. Everyone was so welcoming and well organized. From shoe covers to saline solution. Just perfect. Highly recommend this company. Here and just had another teeth cleaning plus scheduled for some new caps. I cannot say enough great things about this service.

I was in search of a new dentist closer to home, and I am so happy that I came across Pleasanton Dublin Dental. They are local and so very nice! I visited them initially for tooth pain and was back today for a dreaded root canal. This being my first, and hopefully last, I was really nervous to start. By the time we were ready to go, the doctor and staff had me so relaxed. They explained everything and even had me laughing during the procedure. I don't write reviews often, but this was a must!

Dr. Abdou, Mahan, Ricki, Iman and all the staff at Pleasanton Dublin Dental are amazing! They all work together as a professional, compassionate and caring team. My husband and I have been going to Dr. Abdou for countless years and always know we are in good hands with the knowledge, expertise and kind demeanor displayed by all. Cannot say enough good things about the care I have received and I highly recommend without hesitation!

Today Dr. Hana did a filling on one of my teeth. Both he and the staff were very reassuring. I had a very bad experience years ago at a different dental office, so I was nervous. They explained what will be done in plain words and calmed me down. The procedure went through smoothly and I am very glad how it turned out.

Like the sign says " we treat our patients like family" They really do. Its amazing. I found this group to do an implant at the last minute before the holidays and it went smooth as silk. No pain no problems. I am strongly considering making this my permanent dentist. I encourage anyone that is looking to give them a go. Happy New Year

Every Dental Office out there is accredited with professional services. This office outshines every other place for one simple reason: culture. Their motto is family oriented. They value being honest and personable with their patients. You can feel it. You walk in(on time ;)) and you're greeted and seated promptly with kindness. The staff actually cares. Yes they're human and could have a long day, but they're still are invested, in your teeth, your wallet, and your respect. They offer dentist AND orthodontist services. Do not waste your time anywhere else. (apparently they have a gold medal for Invisalign! don't know from who but yeah...)
