Dr. Thomas Hadley is committed to excellence in dentistry and to providing the best possible care for his patients. Having graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1999 with a BS in Bio-Chemistry, he subsequently received his DDS from University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 2004. Since opening his Pleasant View-based dental practice in the summer of 2004, Dr. Hadley has completed more than 500 hours of continuing education courses and obtained certifications in cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, neuromuscular occlusion, conscious sedation, laser dentistry, and CEREC same day restorations. The combination of an exceptional education and extensive clinical experience allows Dr. Hadley to offer a wide range of comprehensive dentistry services.
Dr. Hadley is involved with a number of professional and civic organizations. His current professional memberships include the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Tennessee Dental Association. Dr. Hadley is a past Board member of the Cheatham County Chamber of Commerce, a graduate of Leadership Cheatham County, a graduate of Master Gardeners of Cheatham County, current member and past president of Historic East Nashville Merchants Association, and a member of Nashville Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Hadley opened his most resent practice in 2009 in East Nashville where he has lived since 2004 with his wife, Stacia. They now have 3 young boys! The practice focuses on cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, conscious sedation, and CEREC same day restorations.In his free time, Dr. Hadley enjoys gardening, brewing delicious beer, playing video games, disc golf, going to concerts, and traveling.
It takes a team of professionals with a variety of skills to provide the care you deserve. Currently, we are two hygienists, one assistant, and two patient coordinators; all trained to assist each other in a day at the office.
Each participates in continuing education throughout the year to improve technical skills as well as customer service. Working together, our team makes Pleasant View Smiles a home for comprehensive dental care. From the moment you walk in and throughout your care, you will see familiar faces at every turn. Ashley is a full time dental assistant at Pleasant View Smiles. She received her RDA in 2011 at Kaplan University. She has certifications in Nitrous Monitoring and Radiology. Ashley was born and raised in Cheatham County and loves being able to do what she loves in her community. In her free time, Ashley loves being outdoors, supporting the Nashville Predators, and spending time with friends and family.
John joined our team in 2017 and brought 17 years of dental knowledge with him. He has found his niche in dental insurance and leadership He relocated to Clarksville in 2015 from sunny South Florida where he grew up. He attended University in Miami majoring in culinary arts and discovered soon after that the business end of dental held more appeal than kitchen work and bartending. When hes not in the office he can be found at home working on some home beautification project or traveling back to Florida or the Caribbean to visit family and friends.
Carrie is Dr. Hadleys lead dental assistant. She is originally from Maryland, but has lived in Tennessee since 2007. She has been in the dental field for 13 years and received her RDA from TN Technology Center. She has received her nitrous oxide monitoring permit, coronal polishing certification, and is trained to assist Dr. Hadley with oral sedation and 6 Month Smiles.
Holly was raised in Southern California, but has lived all over the U.S. She loves living in Nashville, but equally enjoys the family ranch in Oklahoma where her husband, Heath, raises cattle. They are happily married, and have 2 wonderful sons. Holly has been in the medical field for more than 20 years with 5 years experience in the dental field. In her spare time, Holly likes to travel, spend time outdoors, and cook.
Ashleigh was raised in Glen Ellyn, Illinois where she graduated from the College of DuPages Dental Hygiene program. She moved to the Nashville area at the beginning of 2020, and has loved life in Tennessee. When Ashleigh is not taking care of patients oral health, she can be found reading, cooking, or dreaming about traveling the world. She loves all things teeth, traveling with her sisters and best friend, and spending time with family. Ashleigh has always enjoyed helping people, and had wanted to be a dental hygienist since she was in eighth grade. She continues to take continuing education courses so that she is up to date with new technology and techniques to keep you healthy. She is excited to meet new people and is ready to help them achieve optimal oral hygiene.
Kayla was born and raised in Wisconsin, and received her Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene from Minnesota State University in Mankato, Minnesota. She is also licensed to administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation during procedures. Although a Mid-westerner (and Green Bay Packer fan) at heart, Kayla loves life as a Tennessean. When shes not in the office you can usually find her outdoors- at concerts, playing kickball, at the lake, and spending time with her husband and her beloved dog, Hank.

This facility and its staff have provided my family and I superb service for 18 years. The staff are always courteous and professional. Jana , my hygienist was very personable and welcoming. She made you feel like you had known her for a long period of time and it was my first visit with here. She done a great job with my teeth cleaning as well! Pleasant View Smiles is great. I have had crowns done there and Dr Hadley does the work all in one trip. No temporary and then go back for permanent. Excellent work.

Pleasantview Smiles left me crying!! After hours of sedation dentistry, the next day my forth tooth on the left broke in 2 after a filling that was to thin broke. After 3 years every piece of work they "repaired" has fallen out, which looks horrible. Now I am going to get dentures by a well researched facility to finally recieve the smile i deserved then!!

Yall!! 10/10 recommend!! I called all the dentist offices. ALL of them. everywhere! No one could get me in. Some didn't even cared about why I needed to get in, I was stressing!! If you know me, you'd know this tooth has caused so much trouble!! I called & spoke to John at the front desk, He is one of the sweetest, most caring humans ever!!! He didn't hesitate!! He just told me to come on!! The assistant was so sweet & even though she was new, I only knew that because she told me!!! Very, very good at her job! Dr. Bahr was so informative & made sure I was taken care of! He was sensitive to my disaster!! That's so important!! From now on they will be my go to!!!

Oh. My. Word! Such a fabulous staff and atmosphere to go to! Legit. I have walked out of dental practices before after I was already in the chair from anxiety. This office hasn't once given me the reason to have any anxiety, from the first time I spoke to John on the phone. He's so welcoming and has such a helpful "no problem" approach to scheduling and all things dental. He has me laughing every time I call or go in. Then Ashleigh was PHENOMENAL with my cleaning, X-rays, pictures, small talk, and actually knew what I was trying to say while my mouth was stretched open! Now to the real rice and beans: Dr. Hadley is quite simply the best dentist I've been to. He is calm and easy to talk to. He explains everything he is going to do in any treatment plan as well as any options there are in the treatment. He has the BEST playlists and sings along as if it were karaoke night and you're just hanging out. I admit I actually kind of, sort of, maybe am looking forward to the next time I go in.... and that is shocking.

The absolute best dentist I have ever been too! John at the front desk is the absolute best, all the dental hygienists and the dentist's are amazing there as well, I have never had a problem with them, I have loved them since day 1. I have recommend them to everyone.

Pleasant View Smiles is absolutely amazing! From the time you walk in and are greeted at the front desk until you are being checked out everyone there is fantastic. Their staff is kind and welcoming. The providers are very thorough and wonderful at laying out all of your options. They let you make your own decisions about your care, without trying to push you in one direction. And as a healthcare worker and mom of three toddlers, they are great with working around my crazy schedule and make coming in for my appointments extremely easy. I would 100% recommend this office to anyone.

This is the best dentist I have ever been to. I will not be going to another one either. The staff is incredible and friendly. They are so polite and caring. I've had bad experiences at other dentist and was terrified of dentist. But I found pleasant view smiles and I'm beyond greatful. From the moment you walk in to when you leave you felt cared for and I cant say enough about how kind everyone there is.
