Being a dentist means I am able to help people of all ages and backgrounds understand the importance of maintaining healthy dentition. We all need optimal oral health in order to talk, chew, and look presentable in public, at school, and in our professional lives!
I am passionate about caring for patients as I would a family member: with love, respect, kindness, and empathy. I know each patient has specific desires and concerns, so I really listen and encourage them to tell me what they want out of care. By listening without judgment, establishing open and trusting communication, and genuinely caring for a patient, we build a relationship. Its essential that people know I dont just fix teeth;I care about the whole person and want to help them succeed.
It is an honor to meet and spend time with people from different backgrounds, at different points in their lives. Each person has stories and experiences to share, and I enjoy learning who my patients are.
My team members are the cornerstone of our practice. They are intelligent, capable, compassionate people. Each enjoys making sure our patients feel relaxed and safe during visits, and providessupport and encouragement toensureeverything goes smoothly. My team is passionate about oral health and helping others develop smiles they love.
Becoming a dentist means committing to constantlearning. Oral healthcare is a fast-evolving field. The advances in techniques, materials, and technology lead to more accurate diagnoses, more comfortable treatment, and stronger results.
I am committed to providing my patients with leading-edge dentistry, so each year I complete many continuing-education courses. This ensures I am uptodate with the latest advances and current on changes. My patients can be suretheyre receiving the best care.
I volunteer with the 203/204 Early Childhood EducationResource Fair, toprovidedental exams on the SmileSquad Mobile Dental clinic. I also volunteer my services at the Ann Reid Early Childhood Center, where I speakwith parents about dentistry. Ive volunteered with Care Network, to providefree dental services to the community, as well.
When Im not caring for patients or volunteering with various dental outreach programs, I can often be found volunteering at my church. I also enjoy bowling andphotography, and love reading on a variety of different topics.

It is my joy to help people however I can in life. Working at Pleasant Touch Dental has taught me how to embrace not only the roles I assume, but also the very people who walk through our door each and every day. Being able to meet the unique needs of patients is so fulfilling and a great lesson in thoughtfulness and understanding. There isn't a day that goes by where we aren't kept on our toes and ready to meet new challenges!
I assist the office through the week however my help is needed. I often work with insurance and treatment plans, but you can also find me assisting in operatories and occassionally working at the front desk!

Dr Franklin has been my dentist for several years. When I first went to her I had not been to a dentist in 20 years because of a very traumatic experience I had with a previous dentist....Today I look forward to my appointments with her! Not only is she a wonderful, friendly Lady who treats you like a friend, but she also does wonderful pain free work...I even had to have a root canal with her a few years back, and it was wonderful!!!! No pain and very little discomfort! I hope she is my dentist the rest of my life!

My kids love this place. First dentist they've ever been to and hopefully the only one they'll go to!! We moved farther away but I wont change to a provider closer to home because my kids and I feel so comfortable with staff!

My 2ed Time here. And I should have not returned after the 1st red flag. Stated by the Dr after giving me more xrays then I've ever had b4. " oh U should hurry and fix all of this wile u still have this -"great insurance ". Whatever that means. I replied and told her " this insurance is NOT temporary. It's ok. Fix what I cane here for before u get in to anything els . We discuss, root canals, temporarily fill inns ect.... (my 1st ever hearing of such ) told her I WOULD LIKE TO DO THE temporary fill in to see how it go's. (I HAVE NO PAIN AT ALL ) after they verified all my insurance... they called me and I scheduled a return appointment. Agen explaining to the phone operator what treatment I wanted so she could give me a price . We did that. I come to my appointment 5min early. Wasn't seen till 1hr and 5min after my appointment. And this Dr was goin to PULL MY #12 tooth out. I NEVER AGREED TO THIS . She said it's so bad we have to. Me : so u did NOT SEE this last week when I was here and we talked about the x rays together. She looks around /lil crazy. And says NO I DIDNT . I got up and ripped off bib I express to her. U wasted my time. She says no I did not. U book me for something I did not agree to. Ur rushing ur job if u did not see this a week ago. And it's the same picture. On top of me sitting here over an hour ...Me: if u want to tell ur self that to make u feel better then ok. But u WASTED MY TIME .. also attempted to charge me $30 for xrays 1st of they year visit (never happened b4) And $25 for my information (never happened b4) some DR are after big insurance company's for a check . Young black ppl with job and insurance Beware.

The staff are so sweet, attentive and really helpful! They were able to accommodate my daughter last minute and gave us all that we needed for her follow up! My daughter loved it also! We found our dentist office!
