Went in for excruciating pain from my tooth ache. Never in my life have I had the privilege to go to the dentist. For being my first time, Dr. Zhu was brilliant with his hands and knowledge of his trade. His assistant was fabulous. Both have gave me a wonderful experience. If your tooth is causing you so much pain that its unbearable, its usually a sign of exposed nerves or a bacterial infection. Placing an ice pack on the affected area can help reduce the pain until we can perform an emergency root canal or - in the worst cases - a tooth extraction.
Minor chips or cracks dont require immediate care, but if there are sharp fragments or parts of the tooth which could cut your mouth, you should call us right away. Usually dental bonding or a veneer can restore the tooth, but more serious cases may call for a crown or implant.
If youve had a tooth knocked out, its tremendously important to get it re-seated in its socket as quickly as possible. The sooner the tooth is put back in, the more likely it is that itll take root again. If your missing tooth cant be naturally restored, a dental implant is the next best option.

I had been putting off making a dentist appointment for a regular checkup and cleaning after what I knew was too long to wait (pandemic didn't help)....I had also been wanting to find a new dental office closer to work. That is when a crown, right in the middle of my smile, popped out and left me not only looking a mess, but also with some serious dental work needed. I called over 13 dental offices on Yelp before asking my good friend to send me the contact for her dental office. That is when I called Pleasant Hill dental and met their fabulous team who got me into the office immediately. After taking x-rays and thoroughly explaining the issue and my options for treatment, they even asked if I'd like to take advantage of a cancellation with their dental hygienist for a routine cleaning! Everyone from Luz at the front desk who explained everything about coverage and options, to Dominick who took my x-rays, and Dr. Leong (who is the most articulate and understandable dentist about what's going on in your mouth I've ever met), as well as Ellie who did a thorough cleaning....I cannot recommend this office and team enough!

Just had my wisdom teeth extracted and my overall experience was amazing! My first time ever being sedated and I was a bit nervous to be put under. The staff and Dr made me feel at ease and everything went extremely well. I would highly recommend this dentist A+

Dental Hygienist Elle was no less than outstanding during my visit for teeth cleaning. I'm normally nervpus anytime I first sit in the dental chair, but Elle immediately put me at ease and made my visit pleasant from start to finish. She showed me before and after cleaning views of my teeth -- what a nice difference! Elle even instructed me on the proper use of an electric toothbrush, a device I never had but will use from now on given her recommendation. I was very impressed with Elle's knowledge/expertise both technically and with client relations. Additionally, I wish to compliment the front office, specifically Luz along with Brandy in their keeping in touch with Pleasant Hill Dental's clients, and making me/them feel welcome and comfortable when we come in for the "dreaded" dental chair.

Dr. Zhu, Savannah and staff are amazing!!! They are compassionate, patient & friendly. They went out of their way to schedule me in for an earlier appointment to do my root canal. I am so extremely thankful that we found this dental office, I highly recommend them!

After not going to the dentist for 15 years I was scared to death of my first visit. If it wasn't for pleasant hill dental i most likely would still not being going to the dentist. After my interactions with literally EVERY GIRL in the facility I will never go to another dentist. I wish I could give ten stars for this establishment. They have changed my entire outlook on dentistry and from now on I will be taking proper care of my teeth. These people are gentle, compassionate and made the worst experience in my life (from other dentists) vanish in its entirety. If anyone is scared to go to the dentist this is 10000% the place for you. Thank you pleasant hill dental, I am excited for my next visit and will refer every single person I know to come to this wonderful establishment. I also want to say that if I ever move out of the state or country I will l literally fly here to get any dental work done. Thank you thank you thank you!!!! P.s. Please excuse my French ladies

I just had a broken molar yanked out of my skull, and while it was as traumatic as you can expect, I was very happy with the supreme competence of Dr. Zhu and his crew, including Savannah Richardson, in doing the deed. I highly recommend their practice.
