Though Dr. Marracino enjoys educating his patients on the value of good oral health, he finds the most rewarding aspect of dentistry to be the positive change he sees in his patients after brightening their smiles. With over 16 years of dental experience under his belt, he looks forward to many more years of service and creating the most comfortable and welcoming office atmosphere possible.
Originally from Lewisville, Arkansas, Dr. Torin Marracino earned undergraduate degrees in both chemistry and biology in 2001 from Ouachita Baptist University. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Tennessee in 2005. After graduating, Dr. Marracino joined Dr. Robert E. Whiteheads private practice, taking over for Dr. Whitehead in 2009.
Active in his profession, Dr. Marracino maintains professional associations with The American Dental Association, The American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the Arkansas State Dental Association. Hes also achieve Fellowship status with the International Dental Implant Association and heavily trained on Dental Sleep Medicine over the years.
Dr. Marracino is currently married to his wonderful wife of 3 years, Michaelyn. Together, they raise a 14-month-old daughter named Brynleigh and care for a pup named Bailey. In his off time, he enjoys being with family and unwinding with hunting, sports, riding SxS, traveling, and his favorite hobby, old muscle cars. One interesting fact about him is hes left-handed!
Dr. Cockerell has always enjoyed bringing a smile to peoples faces, and now hes able to do that through dentistry. Whether its by relieving pain from a toothache or giving them the care and attention they need to manage and overcome their dental anxiety, hes here to make your dental experience as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
Following graduation from Pleasant Grove High School, Dr. Cockerell attended the University of Arkansas to complete his undergraduate education. From there, he enrolled into the Texas A&M College of Dentistry located in Dallas, TX.
Originally from Texarkana, Dr. Cockerell is happily married to his wife, Collins, who is also a native to the area. They both graduated from the same high school and even went to the same college together. Theyre very happy to be back in their hometown and be a part of the community they hold so dear.
In his spare time, Dr. Cockerell enjoys hunting, fishing, traveling, spending time with his family and friends, cooking/grilling, and going to church. He greatly enjoys watching sports, whether its local teams or those on the professional level, including the Arkansas Razorbacks and Dallas Cowboys!
One interesting thing about him is he once had the opportunity to hold a Heisman trophy. He initially misjudged its weight and almost dropped it since it was so heavy. Considering how much he loves football, he thought it was a pretty cool experience!

Who loves going to the dentist? Pleasant Grove Family Dentistry makes it downright pleasant. Courteous, professional, caring staff care for you upon entering the front door until you make your exit. Clear explanations, quality care, knowledgeable staff. Keeps me coming back!

The staff are all friendly. The dental office is very clean the wait was very short. I was there for a yearly check up and cleaning the hygienist was very nice and professional and did a excellent job. I highly recommend this dental office.

I absolutely love Pleasant Grove Dentistry! Dr. Marracino has been my Dentist since 2015, and he's the best around. I moved away from Texarkana in 2017, however I continue to comeback to have my smile maintained by Darla!

Dr. Cockerell and his helper (I cannot remember her name) are very nice and they make you feel comfortable and constantly checking to make sure everything is ok.
