I came into this office with pretty severe dental infection. After taking x rays on my teeth and determining the tooth needed to be removed I asked if it would be possible for me to have an antibiotic or something to treat the extreme pain I was in . Dr. Foster interrupted me and said I can't give you any pain medication and proceeded to give me a short speech on why he does not prescribe pain meds. Confused I explained I didn't come in looking for pain meds but simply some relief for my pain . He said he would see what he could do before making me wait thirty minutes before returning to inform me he had called in a prescription for antibiotics . During the wait I cried and very little acknowledgement was given from the doctor .I feel like my pain was treated with little empathy or even acknowledgement which is disappointing to see from a health care provider. I did end up going back for a filling because I was hopeful the next time would be different. During the procedure Dr.Foster and one of his techs had a political conversation about defunding the police and why he felt that was not necessary. Me , a person of color , was extremely uncomfortable during the whole procedure which is a feeling no one should have while experiencing medical care they are paying for . While some of the front desk staff were friendly I wouldn't necessarily recommend this place for dental care .

Everyone I encountered at pleasant Grove dental today was very polite and professional. The atmosphere at the office was so relaxing and warm. Today was my first visit and it is definitely my dental home from here on in.

Great cleaning visit. On time check-in, gentle and thorough x-rays and cleaning, next appointment booked by hygienist, good report during exam by dentist, then on my way to work. Staff were infection and Covid cautious.

Dr. Lee had slightly missed part of my wife's cavity when having it filled, and it was caught on her next cleaning appointment, and Dr. Foster promptly took care of it, squeezing her in before our vacation. I've mostly had cleaning and exams here, and it's always very timely, clean, and super friendly staff -- and transparent about pricing!

Google reviews are not accurate, go to Yelp if you want to see true feedback. They have an email service that solicits reviews from their patients after appointments. If it's positive, it gets posted to google. If it's negative, they don't post it... I've had trouble with this practice in all interactions but have put off making a change for no good reason other than it's a hassle. Dr. Foster is odd in interactions and never apologized when he would have me waiting for close to 2 hours after appointments were made. Although I could overhear him complain about having to work late. They harass with appointment reminders and threats of cancellation/no show fees yet the doctor was never on time. I guess he values his time more than his patients' time. After seeing Dr. Foster for 3 years and him recommending filling repairs at each appointment, I finally saw Dr. Kim on 9/1/2022. He immediately recommended a night guard for teeth grinding which was apparently causing the need to repair fillings. Thankfully Dr. Kim was looking out for my best interest and not trying to line his pockets like Dr. Foster. After not hearing from the practice for a few weeks after the night guard recommendation, I followed up on 9/27/2022 to see when it would arrive. I was informed that the practice was supposed to schedule a follow up for impressions and dropped the ball. No apology or accountability yet again. I finally heard from the practice manager Hailey today, 9/29/2022. Still no apology or accountability. I expect more from a health provider so will take my oral health needs elsewhere.

I just had the most amazing experience at Pleasant Grove Dental. Rachel was so gentle with my teeth and so kind to me. Dr Foster was also very nice! Everyone in the office was upbeat and it just seemed like everyone loved their job!

It's always a pleasant experience at Pleasant Grove. They are always on time if not early, and everyone who works there is very nice, especially Katie my hygienist !

Just moved to Mt Juliet TN and needed a dentist. Went on internet and decided to go with Dr. Foster. Had a very good , calm experience; staff and lisa nice, dental hygienist Katie and Dr foster very competent. Low key environment which helped me feel comfortable my first visit. Also, no bad news on X-rays!!!!!. Would recommend if looking for a pleasant dental experience.

Dr. Kim got me in right away when I needed a root canal. Took care of the problem and saved the vacation that would've been ruined had I not got it taken care of.

Dr. Kim is a very thoughtful and kind dentist. I highly recommend him!! The staff is very nice! They contact you via email and messaging to make sure you remember your appointment. I appreciate the communication and their pro active way they handle business.

I needed crowns for my two front teeth. It took 9 weeks and 3 tries before they got the color (somewhat) correct. On my third time back though the crowns were too tight and he had to file them down for 35-40 min before they would fit. Never once received an apology for all the inconvenience and time wasted on so many return trips and having to wear temporaries for so long, maybe because their legal counsel advised them to never admit mistakes. Probably good advice for this office.

Friendly, helpful, affordable, professional. Does an awesome job and takes my insurance.. That's a total package in my book.
