After practicing dentistry for more than 20years, I feel that many of my patients have become members of my extended family. Ive watched their kids grow up and now see some of their grandkids here in the office. My conversations with my patients, and being included in their lives, is very rewarding.

I chose the dental field partly because my mother was a dental assistant so I grew up knowing about the profession. I was also drawn to dentistry because I enjoy how every patient and every mouth is different. Very seldom do I have a day when I do the same thing over and over. Each patients needs and treatment is new and presents its own challenges. That keeps my mind active and engaged.

My Doctorate of Dental Surgery was awarded by the University of Nebraska-College of Dentistry. That education provided me with a great foundation. However, dentistry is a constantly evolving field. In order to provide my patients with the best possible treatment and results, I need to remain current on developments.

I make it a priority to take multiple continuing dental education courses throughout the year: locally, regionally, and nationally. This allows me to learn from the leaders in our field and stay up-to-date on the latest technology and techniques.

Im an active member of the American Dental Association, Nebraska Dental Association, and the Academy of CEREC. Professional organizations allow me to learn from and with my peers. Their publications offer access to the latest research findings and discussion of various treatments.

I believe it is my duty to my patients to provide them with the highest quality of dentistry. In order to do that, I have to use the latest technological advances and techniques to provide them with the level of care they deserve. Continuing education ensures Im able to exceed patients expectations.

I grew up right here in Beatrice. My wife Amy and I have been married for 15 years. We have four young children: Connor, Natalie, Nicole, and Ashley. As you might well imagine, they keep Amy and I on our toes! I enjoy coaching my kids in the sports they love. We all enjoy Husker Football games, too.

Every person that enters my chair is important to me and I will ensure they receive the highest quality dental care. I feel fortunate and humbled to be entrusted with my patients smiles and take that responsibility seriously. By taking time to listen to my patients, and asking them about their concerns, Im able to identify the treatment options that are right for their needs. I make sure each patient understands their care options, so they can make the best possible decision for their smile health.

I enjoy practicing all aspects of dentistry. The most exciting part of my job is seeing a change in a persons confidence and demeanor by getting them out of pain, restoring function, or improving their smile.

I love working with entire families to improve their oral health, and enjoy listening to my patients talk about their lives. Practicing in a smaller community allows me to build a lasting rapport with my patients, which is something I truly appreciate!

I attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center-College of Dentistry, where I was awarded my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. I received an excellent education and graduated with a strong understanding of the fundamentals of dentistry. However, the dental field is constantly changing. New treatments and materials, as well as innovative technologies, all make for a better care experience and results for patients.

As a dentist, its my responsibility to my patients to provide them with the best care possible. In order to do so, I must be current on developments. By participating in continuing education, I am constantly learning, expanding my knowledge and honing my skills.

Im an active member of the American Dental Association andNebraska Dental Association. Each month I pour over their journals and other publications, reading about the latest research findings and newest procedures.

As a dental assistant, I appreciate having positive interactions with patients, helping to reduce their anxiety so they have better dental experiences. Having been with Plaza Ridge Dental since 2012, Ive had time to really get to know our patients and many have become my friends. I look forward to their visits as a time to catch up on their latest news.

It is a joy to work side-by-side with the doctors and to give patients the best experience so they feel comfortable coming into the office. I was welcomed to Plaza Ridge Dental in 2021, having started in the field in 2014, and am enjoying getting to know our patient family.

In addition to assisting the doctors with various procedures, while attentive to our patients comfort, I take X-rays and impressions, and polish teeth. I also handle lab work and infection control. My most important responsibility, and what I love best, is maintaining relationships with our patients, so they know we care about them.

Much of my free time is spent with my wonderful husband, Jace, and our two fur babies, Gypsy and Tanzie, who keep us busy. We enjoy renovating houses, camping, watching football, attending concerts, playing softball and volleyball, and being with friends and family.

Nothing is better than making peoples dental experiences enjoyable and seeing pleased smiles at the end of a visit. Ive worked in the field since 2007 and found my professional home and family at Plaza Ridge Dental in 2019.

Much of my day is spent in our clinic and operatories, where I provide chairside assistance to the doctors. While Im helping the doctor, my focus is always on our patients and ensuring they are comfortable during the procedure. I also handle other duties around the office, supporting and helping my coworkers so were able to provide the best care and experience to our patients.

Family keeps me on-the-go when Im not at work. My husband Eric and I have two sons, Kason and Rilyn, along with two dogs, Molly and Peaches. I love my time with family and friends and especially enjoy activities with my kids.

It has been a pleasure to build real, long-lasting friendships with so many of our patients. Those connections, which started when I joined Plaza Ridge Dental in 1998, mean the world to me. Over the years our patient family has grown and I love being part of so many lives.

My life outside of the office is busy, too. Jim, my husband of nearly 40 years, and I have two adult children, Ashleaand her husband Dan and Justin and his wife Whitney. We also have three granddaughters and one grandson, and I love spending time with all of them. I also have three dogs, plus one forever foster dog, who keep me entertained. I enjoy time with family and my grandchildrens activities, fostering and being active in dog rescue, car racing, traveling, and trips to the casino.

My daily interaction with patients is enjoyable. Its fun to hear whats been going on in their life and with their family since we last saw them and to share in all that is important to them. I joined Plaza Ridge Dental in 2018 and was immediately made to feel at home. That same experience happens for our patients, too.

One of the best things about being a dental assistant at Plaza Ridge Dental is getting to know our wonderful patients. I appreciate the diversity of the people we see and how everyone at our office works to care for their individual needs and expectations. I started in the dental field in 1996 and joined this wonderful practice in 2017.

Working in the clinic, I assist the doctors in various procedures, including fillings, crowns, root canals, and surgeries. I also work closely with the other clinical staff to maintain a sterile environment. My focus, and theirs, is always on patient safety and comfort.

Family is a big part of my life outside the office. I am married and have five children, plus a dog. My husband and I enjoy riding our motorcycles and traveling and, with four of our children grown, we like getting everyone together when we can.

As a hygienist, I strive to create a trusting relationship with my patients. This allows me to help each person succeed with their dental needs and goals. I started in the dental field in 2011 and was welcomed to Plaza Ridge Dental in 2021. We have a friendly and positive office, where our patients are cared for likefamily.

I provide quality, personalized care that addresses each patients oral and dental health needs. In addition to oral health screenings, I take radiographs, perform gentle cleanings, and offer individualized oral hygiene instructions.

My husband Justin and I recently returned to the Pawnee City area, with our three dogs and our baby boy (come December 2021). We are excited to be on this journey close to family and friends and to once again be enjoying small-town communities. We look forward to becoming more involved as our little onegrows older. Until then, we enjoy the space and fresh air on our acreage, hunting, fishing, cooking, working on home projects, and staying active.Justin and I like staying active and eating healthy and are excited to take up more hobbies if possible as soon-to-be parents.

Family keeps me busy outside of work hours. My husband Justin and I have two boys, Riley and Graham, who have many interests. I enjoy time with them, as well as being outside, gardening, cooking, reading, and being physically active.
