In order to best help you achieve your dental goals, we treat every patient on a case-by-case basis. Cookie-cutter approaches to your dental health are not what youll find with us. Your comfort and your confidence as we maintain or renew your smile are two pillars we strive to honor at every experience as a part of our dental family.
Dr. Wolkoff joined our practice in 2022. He graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2018. While there, he received an Excellence in Endodontics Award his senior year. He completed a General Practice Residency at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY where he was also Chief Resident. During this time, he also became Invisalign Certified. Dr. Wolkoff is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Missouri Dental Association (MDA), the Greater Kansas City Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). He enjoys being able to lead a team, and he takes pride in delivering exceptional dental care to every patient he sees. Dr. Wolkoff truly enjoys being able to foster relationships with his patients and gets immense satisfaction from getting to know them and their goals over time.
Outside of work, he is involved with the charitable organization Give Kids a Smile, and he is a former coach and board member of Harlem Lacrosse and Leadership. He loves trying new restaurants, watching TV shows and movies with his wife, cooking, and following the NFL and NBA.
Dr. OConnor joined our practice in 2018 after graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Missouri Kansas City. In addition to earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Dr. OConnor also earned her Advanced Studies in Periodontology and Endodontics, which means she has advanced training to help our patients with not only their general dental health needs, but also their advanced needs when it comes to the health and function of their gums and tooth structure. In college, Dr. OConnor was also a D1 College Athlete and First Team Academic All-American. Since graduating, shes completed continuing education courses on implant dentistry, become certified in Invisalign treatment, and attended courses with the Seattle Study Club Business Academy.
As a member of several prominent dental organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA), the Missouri Dental Association (MDA), and the Greater Kansas City Dental Society, Dr. OConnor is truly passionate about being part of our community and staying on the cutting edge of whats new in dentistry to best serve our patients. She enjoys serving her staff and patients to the best of her ability, and always looks forward to using her skill sets to help others. Dr. OConnor loves hearing her patients stories and getting to know them as she helps them achieve their best dental health and quality of life.
Jackie started working at our office in 2020. She completed her business degree from Johnson County Community College in 2009. Jackie has been in the dental field for over 10 years and has loved every moment of it! She loves helping patients understand the value of dental treatment, and building relationships with them. as they improve their oral health. Jackie always looks forward to seeing them leave with a boost in self-confidence after they achieve their dental goals!
Becky originally joined our practice in 2004 and stayed on with Plaza Family Dentistry in 2018. She earned her Applied Science degree from Johnson County Community College in Dental Hygiene in 2003 and has completed certifications in nitrous oxide and local anesthetic. Becky loves to complete new continuing education courses on the latest technology and tools for oral care, systemic relationships, and oral cancer screening technology and updates, so she can provide the best care for her patients. She is also a member of the American Dental Hygienist Association (ADHA) in Kansas and Missouri.
She loves working with our team and appreciates the quality of care we strive to deliver. She looks forward to building relationships with her patients, educating them and helping them maintain good oral health.
When not in the office, Becky enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, Bennett and Brooklyn. She likes playing with her two dogs, watching her daughters play sports, and spending time at the lake.

I love dr. Eli (I forget how to spell the last name). It doesn't even feel like I am going to the dentist most of the time. He explains things in detail and makes sure I am comfortable everytime. Highly recommend this place!

Best dental office I've ever been to! My husband and I both have had great experiences with the staff and Dr. Eli. Very friendly, very thorough, takes their time to make sure you are comfortable throughout any cleaning or procedure work. Would definitely recommend to anyone! If I could give more stars I would!

I visited Plaza Family Dentistry for an emergency appointment after having challenges with a previous provider. From just making my appointment I felt cared about. The amount of empathy that was demonstrated was outstanding. The procedure was quick and Dr. Wolkoff explained every aspect of what he was doing. I would recommend this office to anyone.

I've finally found *the one* - after much research, I've finally found a dentist to cut through my crippling anxiety - Dr. Eli Wolkoff. I've avoided dentists for years, only going in for emergencies. I've never felt more passionate about a recommendation. Throughout my visit, Dr. Wolkoff is constantly checking in on how I'm doing - he's calm, has a warm voice, and is able to keep my anxiety at bay. It's also a nice change to see a dentist that I can relate to, south of age 60 - is it possible for someone to have great experience and be cool? HA. How he builds rapport lends to trust, which has been the key to cutting through my nervousness having my teeth worked on. When I say that I could not recommend a doctor more, I mean it - this has been an incredibly difficult area of my life for several years, and I've finally figured it out. Also of note - Phoebe, the office manager - is incredible. From empathizing with me on my first call to inquire, to greeting me when I arrived for the initial visit. Her warmth and kindness is evident in every interaction. Seeing Phoebe right when I walk into an appointment and again when I'm leaving has also been exactly what I needed. Super grateful to have found him. He came highly recommended while researching dentists good for patients with anxiety.

Becky had a broken leg and did not come in for my cleaning. The temporary gal was a sweet gal and did a good job cleaning me. I hope Becky we be back for my next one in 6 months. God bless her

First work I've had done with Dr. O'Connor and her team. So far so good! They've been friendly, accommodating and thorough. I appreciate the time spent addressing my concerns and developing a plan that works for me. So I've been a patient for several years now. I think they are amazing. Becky is seriously the best hygienist I've ever seen. The whole team takes really good care of you and is always considerate of your needs and goals.

Going to the dentist....can that be enjoyable? Friends listen to me, when your dentist is on the Kansas City Plaza. The dental techs are skilled and GENTLE. The doctors come highly recommended. Top of the line equipment. Progressive , well informed and using the finest updated technology . YES, going to the dentist can be enjoyable.. My dental technician is so gentle I almost went to sleep,WHILE she cleaned my teeth. Her name is Becky . Doctor Eli Wilkoff is my dentist. Detail oriented and very personable at the same time. Great combination. Sanitation is also a major component especially now days. They are in strict compliance with OSHA and COVID regulations. I did check. The office on 411Nichols Rd is handicap friendly. Parking.....well parking on the Plaza is, parking on the Plaza. You have many options. So before or after you can get your shop therapy on. SOFT SURROUNDINGS is right next door. Give them a call, Jackie is the very efficient receptionist. I mean being on the beautiful Plaza will make you smile. So make sure your smile is appropriate. Dr. O'Connor and the team at Plaza Family Dentistry have been taking care of all of my dental needs for over a year. My appointments are fairly quick and rarely have to wait to get in for my appointment. The entire team is professional and explain things in detail. You can tell they really care about the health of their patients! The office is in a great location on the Plaza, with plenty of street parking. I highly recommend Plaza Family Dentistry!
