In order to best help you achieve your dental goals, we treat every patient on a case-by-case basis. Cookie-cutter approaches to your dental health are not what youll find with us. Your comfort and your confidence as we maintain or renew your smile are two pillars we strive to honor at every experience as a part of our dental family.
Dr. Wolkoff joined our practice in 2022. He graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2018. While there, he received an Excellence in Endodontics Award his senior year. He completed a General Practice Residency at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY where he was also Chief Resident. During this time, he also became Invisalign Certified. Dr. Wolkoff is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Missouri Dental Association (MDA), the Greater Kansas City Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). He enjoys being able to lead a team, and he takes pride in delivering exceptional dental care to every patient he sees. Dr. Wolkoff truly enjoys being able to foster relationships with his patients and gets immense satisfaction from getting to know them and their goals over time.
Outside of work, he is involved with the charitable organization Give Kids a Smile, and he is a former coach and board member of Harlem Lacrosse and Leadership. He loves trying new restaurants, watching TV shows and movies with his wife, cooking, and following the NFL and NBA.
Dr. OConnor joined our practice in 2018 after graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Missouri Kansas City. In addition to earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Dr. OConnor also earned her Advanced Studies in Periodontology and Endodontics, which means she has advanced training to help our patients with not only their general dental health needs, but also their advanced needs when it comes to the health and function of their gums and tooth structure. In college, Dr. OConnor was also a D1 College Athlete and First Team Academic All-American. Since graduating, shes completed continuing education courses on implant dentistry, become certified in Invisalign treatment, and attended courses with the Seattle Study Club Business Academy.
As a member of several prominent dental organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA), the Missouri Dental Association (MDA), and the Greater Kansas City Dental Society, Dr. OConnor is truly passionate about being part of our community and staying on the cutting edge of whats new in dentistry to best serve our patients. She enjoys serving her staff and patients to the best of her ability, and always looks forward to using her skill sets to help others. Dr. OConnor loves hearing her patients stories and getting to know them as she helps them achieve their best dental health and quality of life.
Jackie started working at our office in 2020. She completed her business degree from Johnson County Community College in 2009. Jackie has been in the dental field for over 10 years and has loved every moment of it! She loves helping patients understand the value of dental treatment, and building relationships with them. as they improve their oral health. Jackie always looks forward to seeing them leave with a boost in self-confidence after they achieve their dental goals!
Becky originally joined our practice in 2004 and stayed on with Plaza Family Dentistry in 2018. She earned her Applied Science degree from Johnson County Community College in Dental Hygiene in 2003 and has completed certifications in nitrous oxide and local anesthetic. Becky loves to complete new continuing education courses on the latest technology and tools for oral care, systemic relationships, and oral cancer screening technology and updates, so she can provide the best care for her patients. She is also a member of the American Dental Hygienist Association (ADHA) in Kansas and Missouri.
She loves working with our team and appreciates the quality of care we strive to deliver. She looks forward to building relationships with her patients, educating them and helping them maintain good oral health.
When not in the office, Becky enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, Bennett and Brooklyn. She likes playing with her two dogs, watching her daughters play sports, and spending time at the lake.
