Dr. Shteingart has been recognized for his excellence in the fields of Prosthodontics and Oral Surgery and is equally proficient in areas of dentistry including Root Canals, Pediatric Dentistry, and Implant Dentistry. Dr. Shteingart has also practiced along with some of the leaders in Invisalign and Minimally Invasive Cosmetic Dentistry in NYC. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the NJ Dental Association.
Dr. Shteingart received his degree as Doctor of Dental Medicine from UMDNJ/Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. Throughout his time there he received several awards including the Pierre Fauchard Academy Academic Achievement Award and the NJ Dental Association Endowed Scholarship. He continued on to RWJ Barnabas Newark Beth Israel Medical Center where he completed his General Practice Residency.
Outside of the office, Dr. Shteingart is a true family man. He and his wife are blessed with three beautiful children and nothing makes him happier than spending time with his kids. Dr. Shteingarts warm and caring personality andhis outstanding dental expertise make him a perfect fit for all of your dental needs.

We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients; therefore, payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Please remember, you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage; 12-month interest-free financing can be arranged through CareCredit.
If you have insurance, as a courtesy, we will bill them directly for you. Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks. Please call our office if your statement does not reflect your insurance payment within that time frame. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility. Your prompt remittance is appreciated. We can make arrangements for a monthly payment plan, but this must be accomplished prior to the actual procedure.
Gilde has been working as a Dental Assistant for 35+ years. She first attended Dental School at the University of Carabobo in Venezuela, her native country, and then continued her education when she moved to the United States. Gilde's warm nature, gentle touch, and welcoming spirit helps patients feel more relaxed and at home during their visit. Her ability to speak English and Spanish fluently allows her to open up to a wide reach of patients. Gilde believes every day at work is just another chance to help patients maintain and achieve beautiful, healthy smiles. Outside of the office, you can find her spending time with her daughters, playing with her grandson, crafting, and enjoying nature. When you come to our office, Gilde will likely be one of the first people to greet you with a warm welcome and a huge smile.
Ruth joined the Plaza Dentistry team in April 2007. With a total of 20 years in the dental administration field. She specializes in creating long term relationships with patients while helping them plan financially for their services.
Outside of the office Ruth has been a full time caregiver for the past 24 years. Specializing in compassionately caring for the bedfast and chronically ill. In her spare time Ruth loves to spend weekends with friends, reading human psychology books and home decor.
From a young age, Janet was drawn to the power of a smile, so it was only natural that she pursued a career in the dental field. After graduating from the City College of Technologys Dental Hygiene Program in 2017, she began her career in the fast paced and demanding environment of NYC. Working on 14th Street in Manhattan meant being at the crossroads of many diverse patients each with their own needs. She not only brings her experience, but she has also proudly developed the ability to connect with all of her patients which she believes is crucial to creating the ultimate hygiene experience.
Lana has been in the dental field since 2005. Her passion for dentistry inspired her to become a dental hygienist. Lana holds Bachelor of Science degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and an Associate of Applied Science from Bergen Community College.
She takes pride in providing quality dental care, creating a positive and comfortable experience for each patient. She strives to educate her patients to set and to reach their oral health goals. She has experience in Pediatric and General Dentistry. In addition, she holds a local anesthesia license.
