He then moved to Los Angeles to complete a General Practice Residency from the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center where he trained in oral surgery and advanced fixed and restorative procedures. He takes pride in delivering the utmost comprehensive and detail-oriented care for his patients. With extensive experience in restorative crowns and bridges, dental extractions, implant restorations as well as orthodontic treatment using Invisalign, he is prepared for all situations. Dr. Samdani stays relevant with the latest dental technology to provide his patients with the best care possible. Crystal Radford grew up in Portland, Oregon, and with a love for the beach, she moved to Southern California in 2000. Crystal came to Plaza Dental with over 12 years of experience in the dental field. With an Associate in Science, she graduated as Valedictorian from Concorde Career College. She was attracted to dental hygiene because of the opportunity to truly help people by educating on the importance of complete oral care and the link to overall health. She believes patient care and comfort come first.
Hi, my name is Rae. I just celebrated my 18th year anniversary as a registered dental hygienist. I obtained my Bachelors Degree of Science in Dental Hygiene from the USC, School of Dentistry. Throughout my educational endeavors and through this program, I consistently attained the Deans List and graduated with Honors. I also received the Patient Education Award for the graduating Class of 2000. As a practicing hygienist, I helped establish the dental hygiene department at Plaza Dental and continue to be part of this family for 12 years and counting. I bring 20+ years of knowledge and experience (18 years as a hygienist and 5 years as a registered dental assistant). I am fortunate to be surrounded by two doctors and a team that continually advance their skills and knowledge. Plaza Dental is always evolving. Most of all, I appreciate the trust the doctors have shown in me over the years. Dentistry runs through my veins and the dedication I have goes beyond the technicality of gums and teeth. I definitely enjoy the relationship I forge with each patient. My love for dentistry and the preventative aspect in dental hygiene help fuel my passion throughout the years. Dr. Dmitriy Ivanov is a board-certified specialist in periodontics with a focus on the treatment of periodontal disease, hard and soft tissue augmentation and dental implantology. He has received extensive training in all aspects of periodontics, providing patients with a healthy and aesthetically pleasing smile. He is also trained in moderate IV sedation, helping the most anxious patients receive excellent periodontal care. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the California Society of Periodontics. Dr. Ivanov received his Bachelors degree in biological sciences from UC Santa Barbara, graduating with Summa Cum Laude (Highest Honors). He was awarded a D.D.S. degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry and continued his post-doctoral education in advanced periodontics and implant dentistry residency at the Veterans Hospital of West Los Angeles/UCLA Medical Center. His residency had an emphasis on medically-compromised patients, full-mouth rehabilitation patients, interdisciplinary perio-prosthodontics reconstructive therapy, and full-arch implant treatment. After completion of his residency, Dr. Ivanov achieved a Diplomate status with the American Board Of Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery and is Considered and Board Certified Periodontist and Implant Specialist. Dr. Ivanov is a former clinical instructor of periodontics at the UCLA School of Dentistry in Westwood and the UCLA Venice Dental Clinic. Dr. Ivanov enjoys teaching and spends some time monthly educating other dentists in various aspects of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. Dr. Ivanov is a Los Angeles native and outside of his professional commitments, he enjoys life with his young family. His hobbies are camping, fitness, cooking, and music. Dr. Samar Hubbi was raised in New Jersey and received her Bachelors of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering. Afterwards, she attended University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) for her dental education. She spent a year at the VA in San Diego, California, completing a General Practice Residency before returning to UMDNJ for her specialty training in Endodontics.
She is highly trained in microscopic root canal therapy and surgical endodontic procedures. Her specialized training in anesthetic and pain control ensures that your root canal treatment is completed with finesse and with minimal discomfort.Her gentle touch and friendly nature make her a patient favorite.
