I am active in the dental field, which I love. I view myself as a continual student, with a special interest in working with the elderly, children and the physically/mentally impaired. I'm excited about where I am in my career and the expertise that I can provide. I am now licensed in Illinois and Missouri and do most all aspects of general dentistry. I have worked and continue to work private as well as the corporate side of dentistry. I accept all types of assignments and love the challenge and opportunities presented in meeting new people. Dr. Abdullah Godil, DMD was born & raised in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his dental education in Pakistan & moved to the United States to obtain DMD degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated with Honors in Community Dentistry.
Dr. Godil completed General Practice Residency at Virtua Hospital in Camden County. His advanced training involved all the aspects of clinical dentistry. Dr. Godil is an active member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, & New Jersey Dental Association.
Apart from dentistry, Dr. Godil actively participates in community services. He has been involved with many non-profit organizations in Pakistan helping with the education of the underprivileged children. He also volunteered as a career counselor to channel each students potential & guide them to their realistic & achievable goals. He also volunteered at many community events in the United States through UPenn, Virtua & food pantries in Houston, Texas. Apart from dentistry, he likes to travel, listen to the music, try new cuisine, & swimming.
Clinical director and co-owner, Dr. Lisenby has been with Plaza Dental Group since the doors opened in 2008. He graduated in the top 15% of his class from Southern Illinois University of Dental Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Lisenby wholeheartedly respects and values every patient who walks through the door of our office. To be at the forefront of dental care, Dr. Lisenby keeps current with the latest advances in the field of dentistry. He travels all over the United States each year to attend some of the best continuing education programs.
Dr. Lisenby, his wife Andrea, and theirthree children,Noelle, Logann, and Jaxon, are actively involved in their Christian faith and attendThe Crossing ChurchinColumbia.Dr Lisenbys other interests include running, reading, bible study, and spending time on the MKT trail with his wife and kids. Dr. Lisenbycurrently serves as the President of the Columbia Dental Society, volunteers forSpecial Olympicsand participates in short term mission trips.
Dr. Ghandi grew up in Mexico, Missouri and attended the University of Missouri Columbia earning her BS in Biology with honors. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. It was here, along with her experiences shadowing a pediatric dentist in college, that cultivated her love of Pediatric Dentistry. After graduating with endodontic honors, Dr. Gandhi moved to Denver where she worked as a General Dentist in a pediatric dental office. She then received an additional 2 years of training through NYU Langone Hospitals Pediatric Dental Residency where she earned her certificate as a Pediatric Dentist. She is a member of American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, and the Colorado Dental Association.
Dr. Dharti loves to spend time with her husband, Kyle, and their baby boy, Myles. On the weekends, you will often find her running marathons, attending the local farmers market, and spending time with her family. One interesting fact about her is that she is an avid bootcamp athlete. Dr. Gandhi values establishing long term relationships with her patients and the community. She emphasizes education, quality care, and the importance of public service. She creates a fun positive environment and tailors care to each individual patient.
Dr. Francis supports the American Association of Orthodontists recommendation that children be seen by an orthodontist beginning at age seven. Certain dental and jaw relationships can only be treated early to avoid surgery or further compromise later. However, research shows that orthodontic treatment is most efficient in a single phase of comprehensive treatment when possible and that is Dr. Francis preference as well.
Dr. Francis grew up in Bozeman, Montana. He received his bachelors degree in biology from Brigham Young University and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Texas School of Dentistry. It was during his orthodontic residency at the University of Kentucky that he and his wife first visited central Missouri and considered relocating to the area. Dr. Francis and his wife Shannon have three sons: Tyson, Austin, and Neal. They love hiking and camping and spend most of their family time playing games together and riding bicycles and tricycles around the neighborhood.
The power of a healthy, attractive smile really enhances self-confidence. I learned this personally as I finally opened up with my smile after years of not showing my teeth when I smiled due to embarrassment. That personal transformation that accompanied my own orthodontic treatment led me to begin working at an orthodontic office from the age of 16. To this day, that contagious smile from a patient with newly aligned teeth is still the most exciting and rewarding aspect of my work. Dr. Francis
Dr. Misischia is a graduate of Washington University Dental School, and an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon certified by the Missouri Dental Board to perform general anesthesia in an outpatient setting. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the National Board of Anesthesiology, and a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

10/10 would recommend this dentistry! They're always so dang accommodating I love it. Also super quick and thorough! I've since moved on from Columbia but still make the trip back to town just to visit the dentist. Out of my way but well worth it for the services provided here! :)

Unfortunately, I didn't have the best experience. I couldn't make my appointment because my assistant was sick (so I couldn'tleave work). I put down a $100 deposit, They refused to Refund it or roll it over to my next appointment and wanted another $100 to book a new appointment. Unfortunately, I felt like it was all about money to them, and not willing to work with me.

I absolutely love these people. Even though they've moved and are in the process of changing practitioners, they gave my children the best care. They were compassionate, understanding and INCREDIBLY patient.

First of all, Emma is amazing!! The first positive experience my sensory sensitive son has ever had at the dentist was with her cleaning his teeth. She was very patient, affirming and accommodating to ensure my son was comfortable. He is no longer fearful of going to the dentist! The facility is very nice and there is very little wait time each time I have been. They have a fun toy machine that looks like a giant gumball machine that kids can put a coin in to get a prize at the end of their visit. My kids all love going now to see what they will get. I've told all my friends about this place. Thanks for being a great facility with excellent employees.

Dr. Francis is an awesome orthodontist and a super nice guy! I was worried that it would be weird having braces as an adult but he helped me achieve all of my smile goals within a relatively short period of time and for a great price. The receptionists are also very sweet, helpful, and responsive.

First, I will say that Dr Lisenby is a great dentist! And Sarah is a great hygienist! The problem is, when I showed up for my scheduled appointment, the office (where Plaza Dental used to be) informed me that the dental office I was looking for had moved to a new location. Plaza Dental had failed to inform me they had moved their dental office to a new location... I am an established patient who schedules twice a year cleanings, and they had my email address and phone number... So this lack of communication made me 10 minutes late for my scheduled appointment. Second, When I arrived at the new location they informed me that my dentist, Dr Lisenby, (who was the only reason I loved Plaza Dental in the first place), was now practicing in Moberly! I will be shopping for a new dental office with better communication skills... and business practices that are less sketchy.

Everyone is always friendly here. I have been to many dentists in my lifetime and Dr Rash & his dental assistants are at the top. Always respectful, caring and makes sure you are always comfortable. I am a new patient and Debbie was wonderful in establishing my dental care in Columbia. She made me feel very comfortable, answered all of my questions, and was very helpful. Dental Hygienist Reagan did a great job with a thorough cleaning and my new dentist Dr. Deppe is very caring and professional. Dr Francis and crew (shout out to Candice!) provided a great orthodontist experience for my family. Their time and cost estimate was informative and accurate. They were understanding and accommodating to schedule changes. I highly recommend them if you're looking for an orthodontist in the central Missouri area.

Plaza Dental is using all of the precautions for a safe dental visit during a pandemic: gloves, masks, face shields, air purifiers, disinfecting surfaces, etc. Plus the staff remains thorough, friendly, and professional as always.
