Dr. Joseph Cutrona prides himself on treating every patient as if he were treating his own family to ensure a positive experience. Apprehensive patients are of special interest, as he is committed to breaking down barriers that may have prevented patients from seeking treatment in the past. Dr. Cutrona believes there is no reason to have an unpleasant experience in the dental chair and routinely goes out of his way to make sure his patients are comfortable and relaxed.
Dr Joseph Cutrona grew up in the St. Louis area where he attended De Smet high school. After receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Southern Illinois University, he chose to do an optional residency at the University of Michigan. During his time at U of M, Dr. Cutrona was able to treat large complex cases in an educational setting that most dentists arent exposed to for years after graduation. After treating a variety of different cases, he returned to the St. Louis area and joined Plaza Dental team to exercise his proficiency in esthetics, surgery, and treating the apprehensive patient. Outside of the office, Dr. Cutrona enjoys fishing, family, all St. Louis sports, and various blues music venues throughout the City.

Really terrific dental office. Dr. Cutrona is a fantastic dentist. Everyone who works there is extremely nice and customer service is their top priority. I love this practice so much that even though I moved out of the area (90 miles away) I still come back for my dental visits. They are THAT good.

Best Dentist I've ever had! Just had two crowns replaced, really appreciate how my dentist (Dr Cutrona) and everyone from my hygienist to the reception staff explains everything that's being done and are so professional and pleasant to be around! Couldn't ask for a better experience or more satisfactory outcome, at reasonable cost and under estimate. I'm happy to highly recommend Plaza Dental Center.

I've always had trouble with my teeth from as far back as I can remember, and after going through 3 other dentists, two failed root canals, and a bunch of cavities, I found Plaza Dental and... OMG the difference between those other places and Plaza is insane. Dr. Cutrona and his staff are legitimate, professional, and very, very good at what they do. He was able to repair a REALLY bad cavity that we all thought would need a root canal with only a crown and was able to refer me to an endodontist when the root canal that was done by my previous dentist / endodontist was infected. It was able to be repaired without replacing the crown. Pricing is very comparable to the other dentists I've gone to, even without insurance. If you're like me and have neglected going to the dentist for years, this place is probably the one you want.
