Erik Ligans, DDS, is a skilled cosmetic and general dentist practicing at Playa District Dental, located in the Westchester neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. Dr. Ligans (Dr. E) attended the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery. For his undergraduate studies, Dr. E attended the University of California Riverside, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2014. While studying at USC, Dr. E volunteered for many non profit organizations that had goals to alleviate health disparities by providing health care to underserved communities. And he passionately continues to do so to this day.
At Playa District Dental, Dr. E and his team offer an array of cosmetic services like veneers, Invisalign, and cosmetic smile makeovers, that have the capacity to transform your smile. He also offers a full complement of routine dental services, including tooth extractions, dental implants, emergency dental care like root canals, and same-day crowns service.
Outside of practicing dentistry, Dr. E enjoys traveling, exercising, and spending time with his friends and family. He is also an avid sports fan and enjoys watching the Los Angeles Lakers, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and USC football.

The best dental experience I've ever had! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They helped reduce my fears, made me comfortable and even checked in on me afterwards. Communication is great and the office is definitely a vibe. From the cleanliness, the music selection & Netflix access, I won't be going anywhere else for my dental work! Thank you Dr. E and team! :)

Honestly this review is WAYYY overdue! But COME HERE!! I've been coming to this office for over a year now and I absolutely love it!!! I literally feel like family at this point. The customer service is on point and you can tell everyone loves what they do! I'm sure they are sick of me from all the issues I bring them every visit but they are so understanding and patient. I still remember my first day here, I thought it was so amazing that everyone in the office looks like me (a person of color), my Dr. is in Jordan's, the hygienist (I never got her name but she's sweet and knowledgeable) gave me cute little shade to protect my eyes/lashes, a blanket cuz I was freezing (as always) and vaseline for my lips cuz they were super dry. My experience is exceptional literally EVERYTIME I come. It's really the little things cuz I've been to some interesting dental offices here in LA. The office super clean and bright with big windows, they have tv's to watch while you're getting work done, super laid back and comfortable. I've gotten invisaline and other work done and Dr. E is so talented. The whole team is amazing! Dr E, Syd, Brit, Ari and the other little lady THANK TOU SO MICH FOR ALL THAT YOU DO!

The office staff are was extremely friendly and helpful. Dr. E. provides A+ service at every appointment. The vibe in the office is great, music playing throughout, the ability to watch pretty much any program you want, which makes for a good experience when going to the dentist. I would recommend and continue to recommend Dr. E as your family dentist.

Wonderful practice. Clean, Chill, modern, friendly staff, professional environment, good music, and better sneaker choices. The whole staff is in sync! Dr E is quick, gracious and clear about your all your options with no pressure, just facts. Highly Recommend it to everyone looking for dental work in 2022 done the right way. And for Westside and south LA such a convenient location and parking too.
