Dr. Clayton Hoffman graduated summa cum laude from South Dakota State University with degrees in Biology and Chemistry. Following his undergraduate studies, he attended dental school at the University of Iowa, from which he graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2011. He has practiced in the Platte, South Dakota, area since 2013.

Dr. Hoffman enjoys advancing his education, in all areas of dentistry. In 2016, he completed a Fellowship with the International Dental Implant Association. Dr. Hoffman is also a member of the Spear Institute, which emphasizes cosmetic and advanced prosthetic dentistry. As a dentist, he works closely with patients to improve their oral health and help them fully understand any problems they have and their options for correcting those problems. Ultimately, Dr. Hoffmans goal is to provide the highest quality of dentistry as comfortably and efficiently as possible.

He and his wife, Corissa, have two boys named Liam and Lennon, and a dog named Maggie. Outside of the office, Dr. Hoffmans hobbies include woodworking, carpentry, landscaping, Iowa football, and wrestling.

Since 2013, Brittney has been a positive, caring, and friendly member of our dental team at Platte Dental Clinic. She graduated from Dordt College in 2012 and loves being a part of the care and well-being of peoples dental hygiene care.

Helena joined our team in 2018. She takes real interest in the well-being and care of each patient who visits our office, and enjoys the way we all work together as a team. Helena also enjoys meeting new people from our community every day.

Helena comes from a family of seven siblings, and enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews, keeping up-to-date on their weekly accomplishments. She and her fianc have a baby boy named Huntley. Helena believes that everyones day should always include pizza!

Tessa has been with our team since 2018. She pays close attention to details and works to suggest and implement changes that keep our office fresh and running efficiently. Tessa enjoys spending time on the farm with her husband, Jarod, and her sons, Theo and Wesley.

Katie has been with Platte Dental Clinic since 2016 and has contributed to its success by being very personable and promoting light office banter and laughter. She likes the variety and challenge of learning new things daily and likes the family feel they have as a staff.

Ivory started with us in 2016, after graduating from Dordt College in 2015. She contributes to the success of Platte Dental Clinic by arriving each day with an encouraging, upbeat, and friendly personality. She enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time anywhere she can hang a hammock.

Wendy has been with Platte Dental Clinic since 2005 and graduated from the University of South Dakota with a bachelors in dental hygiene. She enjoys investing her time in the people she sees each day, including her patients and fellow co-workers. She makes strong connections with patients and genuinely cares not only about their dental hygiene, but their daily life.

She enjoys running, gardening, her kids sports and events, and spending time with the family. She has been married to her husband, Toby, since 2002, and together they have three children: Braelyn, Charlotte, and Emerson.

In 2010, Kathy became a valuable member of our dental team. She is very down to earth and can relate to patients with a caring and diverse personality. She graduated from the University of South Dakota in 1976 and is married to her husband, Donn. They have two grown children and four rambunctious grandchildren. Her hobbies include spending gobs of time with grandchildren and traveling with her daughter.

Erin DeWaard Dental HygienistErin graduated with her Bachelors degree in dental hygiene from the University of South Dakota in 2014. She joined our team in April 2019, and enjoys the upbeat, friendly atmosphere of our office and of our local community. Erin stays up-to-date with todays dental practices, and makes it a priority to offer a hand wherever it may be needed in the office.

Erin and her husband, Jared, have one daughter, Norah, and are expecting another child in October. In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her daughter, golfing and tending to their pet dog and cat.
