Dr. Platt maintains a relationship-centered private practice in general dentistry in Little Rock, Arkansas. He graduated from the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry in 1984. He began his journey with the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in 1995 and was invited to join the Visiting Faculty in 2010.
Dr. Platt enjoys mentoring dentists, helping them to develop and enjoy the dental practice of their dreams. He currently lectures on temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction and treatment, as well as leadership skills to allow dentists to achieve optimal care for their patients.
Dr. Platt is married to Dinah and has two sons, Brian and Phillip. Both of his sons are proud graduates of the University of Arkansas and are currently in dental school at the University of Tennessee.
We offer full Cosmetic Dentistry as a part of our Comprehensive Care approach. This includes white fillings, All-Ceramic crowns and bridges, Veneers, and Tooth Whitening. In today's world, there are numerous commerically available products for teeth whitening. Our professional teeth whitening is superior to over the counter products for a couple of reasons. One, the whitening product we use is a higher concentration than over the counter products and works more intensely to whiten your teeth. Two, we custom make trays to fit your mouth perfectly so that the whitening product is held on the surfaces of your teeth for the duration of your treatment.
We offer white or tooth-colored fillings for any cavities that you may have. The white filling material is called Composite and will be matched seemlessly to your natural tooth with a strong bond strength and enhanced polishing ability to send you home with a smile you love!
Implants and implant restorations (crowns) are becoming more and more the standard for replacing missing teeth. Other restorations for replacing teeth include Bridges and Partials, but both of these options only replace the Crown of the tooth. A dental implant replaces the Root of the tooth which helps preserve and strength the bone leading a longer lasting restoration. The Implant restoration (Crown) is placed on top of the implant to provide a fully functional and fully esthetic tooth replacement. The dental implant is placed at a specialist's office, and after the implant placement and healing you will return to our office to receive your final implant restoration (crown).
Sometimes when a cavity becomes too large it is necessary to place a crown or cap on the tooth to provide adequate strength and esthetics. One option to replace a missing tooth is a bridge. A bridge utilizes the adjacent teeth as support and replaces the missing tooth with a crown pontic. All of our crowns and bridges are highly esthetic and will give you a great smile!

Dr. George Platt is a Visiting Faculty Member at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education. Angie is a Little Rock native and a 1995 graduate of UAMS. She joined the staff in 1998 and continues to enjoy patient education and the family atmosphere of our office. Angie is married to Brent, and they have two boys, Riley and Sam. Angie and her family are dedicated to various faith-based ministries and participate in many outdoor activities.

Ive been dealing with TMJ for more than 15 years. I was a little bit nervous about meeting Dr. Platt for my issue with TMD. However, he is so kind and he explained things to me in a way I could easily understand what I am dealing with. He has made himself available to answer any questions that I have and has made the decision to move forward with treatment very easy. I am going to start the process of TMD therapy and I feel very hopeful in at least getting some relief from it. The staff has also been very helpful from the first phone call. Stephanie is so very kind and worked with me on scheduling out some appointments. Most definitely a great experience thus far!

Dr Platt is a true professional. He explained every detail of my treatment plan to me before we even started. My teeth required a very extensive rehab plan and he did a phenomenal job every step of the way. He took great pride in his work and I can tell he is a perfectionist just like me! I have a great result!!! I truly appreciate his excellent work and for treating me with respect. Sometimes I feel like many dentists try to rack up the charges and do everything possible to add up the charges.... Not Dr Platt, he is reasonable. He does what needs to be done, and treats you like family! Thanks Dr Platt!
