Dr. Platts Lakeville roots run deep; she is a fourth generation resident on both of her parents family trees. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. A firm believer in continuing education, Dr. Platt attends several dental courses annually. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. Outside of work, she spends as much time as possible with family and friends. She and her husband, Al, are busy with their three children. You can usually find them at the baseball field in the spring and summer. In her free time, she enjoys running.
Dr. Platt is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Minnesota Dental Association (MDA), and the St. Paul District Dental Society. She was honored to receive a Top Dentist award from Minneapolis St. Paul Magazine in 2009.
Christine has been a licensed registered dental assistant for twenty three years. She has been working with Dr. Platt since the practice opened in 2007. She and her husband Todd have a son, Benjamin. In her free time she enjoys running, golfing, and spending time up at the lake with her family. Christines upbeat attitude and sunny personality give energy to everyone that meets her. Her warm laugh is contagious and will make your dental experience enjoyable.
Wendy and her husband, Chris, live next to his family farm. They have three teenagers. When she is not working, her kids keep her busy with their activities. Wendy has been in the dental field since 1991, spending most of her career in orthodontics before returning to school for hygiene. She has been a hygienist with Platt Dentistry for ten years. Wendy enjoys camping and the outdoors. Her friendly smile will help you feel comfortable during your visit with us.
Jill has been a dental hygienist for 14 years and joined Platt Dentistry in 2017. She has three children Max, Ella and Annie. Spending time with them is her greatest joy. She also likes to be busy in the kitchen, cooking for her family and friends. Jill looks forward to building relationships with all of her patients at Platt Dentistry.
Bobbie has been with Platt Dentistry for three years. She and her husband Eric have two children, Morgan and Blake. She enjoys spending time with her family which also includes her Beagle, Willow. They enjoy various outdoor activities.

What a wonderful office and experience at a dentist! Dr Platt and her entire team are welcoming, kind and genuinely care about their patients. I was warmly greeted when I arrived and my hygienist, Katelyn, was so friendly and did an incredible job with my appointment. I would highly recommend Dr Platt's office!

I really enjoy going to my dentist! How many of us can say that? At Dr. Platt Dentistry, everyone is so welcoming and friendly from the minute you walk in the door. Paul and Bobbie greet me with a smile. Wendy does a fantastic job cleaning my teeth and Dr. Platt herself, examines them. Oh and when there's that occasional pesky cavity or crown needed, Dr. Platt and Christine make a great team to get it done right. They treat me like family. I always feel so relaxed and comfortable. They really care about each and every one of their patients. Thank you Dr. Platt and Staff for taking such good care of us over the years. You are a real blessing.

I highly recommend Dr. Platt and her team!! Our family of five has gone to Dr. Platt for years for our routine cleanings and general dentistry and have always been happy with our experience. What really sets Dr. Platt and her team apart is the care I received after having mouth trauma and losing two front teeth about 4 months ago. I have never had dental issues so this was extremely traumatic. I was seen immediately and received a detailed treatment plan for the process to get my teeth fixed and my smile back. The communication and coordination Dr. Platt provided with getting an implant done with an oral surgeon and then perfectly color matching the new implant for one front tooth and a crown on the other, I now have a perfect looking smile again! Phenomenal dentist and team and highly recommend!!!

Dr Platt is the most caring and professional dentist I've seen in my lifetime. In the 14 years since she opened her dental practice in Lakeville, she has delivered consistently exceptional service to her patients. She communicates clearly and effectively. She takes whatever time is necessary to fully explain what treatments are needed. She never pushes questionable restorative procedures and the work she does is always top notch. They are the best, hands down. My family and I moved to Texas and whenever we're in Minnesota, we make a stop to see Dr. Platt and her team. They are so good with my kids, especially the one who is deathly afraid of needles (and she still loves going to the dentist!). I recently had to get a bad cavity job that was done by a dentist in Austin, fixed by Dr. Platt - I appreciate her honesty and conservative approach to treatments; as well as her and her team's dedication to providing quality (and comfortable!) service. Almost makes me want to move back. Almost! ;)
