I just thought I would take a moment to say BRAVO to Dr. Shaw, and his staff @ Dana Park Dental. Yesterday was my first day with this new (to me) dentist, so I cannot comment on work done, only on the way they all do their jobs when you walk in the front door of their practice. Now let me say, I have never enjoyed going to a dentist, and further one could say, I have rarely trusted dentists in general. I was completely changed in my first visit with my first visit, and even walked out with a new found determination to take better care of my teeth and mouth in general. Kudos to Dr Shaw and his entire staff! Just to add an update.. I had my first appt. for actual treatment with Dr. Shaw, and a cleaning. While I was yet again very impressed with Dr Shaw and his practice, I really want to address April, who did my cleaning. I must say I have never been impressed with the cleanings I've had in the past, and felt they were just another way to charge a handsome fee for 20 to thirty minutes service. I would leave the cleaning wondering whether the treatment was worth the price paid. April however made a believer out of me. She spent all but a couple of minutes to an entire hour, and when she was all done, I not only scheduled another appt for 6 mos, but my mouth felt like new! While the she was treating me I rcvd information on better use of our water pick in a way I was unaware of. Thank you April, you are the icing on the cake for Dr Shaws practice. I look forward to my next cleaning and better care of my teeth.

Best hygienist around. April is great at what she does. I no longer hate going to the dentist. It's all easy peasy and pain free to go to the dentist.

This has been one of my best dental experiences ever I hate going to the dentist but they made it so painless that I don't mind it as much. I highly recommend Dr. Shaw's office !

I would honestly 100% recommend Western dental over this place. Daniel Shaw is not a professional. I'm just gonna leave it at that. If anybody reading this knows Western dental, you know that's saying a lot. So take my word...

One of the best doctors I've been to and one of the easiest dental extractions I've ever had, plus everyone there is super friendly and compassionate. I highly recommend Dr. Shaw

Very nice and professional and friendly. If everyone doesn't know Dr Shaw's prices are lower than Dr Platner. Dr Shaw explained everything to me so I knew just what was going to be done.

You all are always magnificent and I feel lucky to have found you. I must share my unique experience from today though. I am someone who is on the spectrum and deals with various sensory issues. I had the same dentist for 20 years and personally learned how to zone out and not let things affect me. Anyways, I have to give an enormous amount of recognition to my dental assistant today (her name started with a K, I believe). Having anyone touch my mouth makes me uncomfortable. This is the first time I've actually felt comforted by my dental assistant. She was extremely gentle and efficient and it was probably the first time ever that I didn't think to myself "Geez! You know thats skin, right!?" While I'm very pleased with everything I've experienced from your office and your staff, as a person on the spectrum it almost brought me to tears to feel so comfortable and relaxed. A big thanks to y'all and a special thanks to your compassionate dental assistant!
