Christian Vargas, DDS, finds her purpose from being able to make a difference in individuals lives through dentistry. The best part of my job is making positive impacts in my communitys oral health and quality of life by providing the appropriate education, tools, and services that they need.
Originally from Puebla, Mexico, Dr. Vargas grew up in Blue Springs, MO. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry and has been involved in organizations including the Hispanic Development Fund, NAACP, and Migrant Farm Workers. Dr. Vargas also is fluent in Spanish and looks forward to serving the diverse communities of Kansas City.
When shes not serving patients, Dr. Vargas enjoys relaxing at Loose Park, visiting local coffee shops with a good book, and walking around Country Club Plaza. If given the opportunity to take a year off with pay, she would travel the world in search of exquisite food.

After a rocky start regarding scheduling which was turned around by the amazing office manager my 3 year old and I had an amazing visit!! Allie, our dental hygienist was phenomenal with my 3 year old!! The dentist was also phenomenal and quite thorough! If that wasn't enough, the office manager's daughter also works there (family environment) and she was the absolute best with my son!! She hung out with him in our space, played with him, and kept him company after his appointment so I could also get my teeth cleaned. It was an amazing experience and I couldn't be happier!!

Dr. Muhammad and his staff are amazing. It was my first appointment and they were all so sweet. I had Jasmine for my dental assistant and she was so sweet. I usually have trouble having molars extracted. It usually takes a long time to get it out and have tons of pain when finished. He had my tooth out so quickly and with very little pain. If you're looking for a dentist I would highly recommend Platinum Family Dental, you won't be disappointed.

So professional! Took whatever time was needed to help me. I did not have an appointment, but they took good care of me. Told me what was going on and sured me they could handle it. The dentist talked to me immediately. Thank you so much!

As someone who isnt fond of going to the dentist, these people were extremely friendly! I could tell that the dental hygienist, Maddie, loves what she does and took extra great care of me, helping to calm my nerves. Definitely coming back!

I enjoyed the consultation with emphasis on giving me what I want . 2 top partials. And reinforcing my top teeth. He gave it to me straight and let me make the call. I will continue with platinum as my dentist and possibly my kids after my procedure.

Went to Platinum Family Dental for the first time for my 6 month cleaning and am so glad I did! The ladies at the front desk were so helpful. My Dr. explained everything that was happening in my mouth so well. Amy cleaned my teeth and left me walking out 10x better than when I came in and was so very thorough.

No one loves the dentist, but the service and commitment of each of the employees made this experience painless. They explained what was wrong and took the time to make sure I was comfortable with the required procedure. Great job Dr. Vargas.

The folks at Platinum Family Dental have been our dental providers since 1993. We've had nothing but positive experiences with them. Whether it was Dr. Hassen, or now Dr. Vargas, the folks at Platinum have always provided outstanding customer service. I highly recommend them for anyone needing dental care in Kansas City North!

We all know Dental work isn't always the most fun, but they make it easier for the patient. We used to see Dr Haasen, as well Dr. Vargas is very friendly & comfortable to work with.
