Below is our New Patient Package that you will need to complete on your first visit. You can expedite matters by downloading the package, completing it at home and handing it to our staff when you arrive for your initial visit to our office.
Your first visit to our office is designed to get you better acquainted with all we offer as well as introduce you to our caring staff. On your first visit, we will review your medical and dental histories and evaluate your oral health. We will take digital x-rays of your teeth and explain to you whether or not you will require any dental treatment.

Mayoly has been with our team since 2016, and has more than 18 years in the dental field as an office manager. She has received special training in management, customer service and dental insurance. Mayoly loves working with our doctor and office managers to implement new ideas, and seeing our patients walk out with a beautiful smile on their face. She also enjoys training new staff and is the driving force behind each new office, doctor and office manager to maintain our practices and keep them running smoothly. She is 100% committed to delivering whatever our doctors and office managers need.Mayoly enjoys spending time with her husband of 17 years; her son, Chris, who is attending Rutgers; and Melanie and Sophia. In her spare time she participates in Zumba and Salsa classes.
Michele Ambrosio graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in 1989 and has been a registered dental hygienist for over 30 years. She has practiced in Bayonne for the entirety of her career, spending over 25 years with South Hudson Dental Group before transitioning to Platinum Dental Group in 2015. Her tenure in Bayonne has allowed her to develop trust and rapport with patients of all ages. She strives to provide input on treatment that will benefit each patients overall dental health and wellness. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, particularly her husband Mark, and her daughters Emily and Abigail. She loves to cook and bake during her down time, and is known to share her recipes and dishes.
Since 2007, Kamir has been a valuable member of the Platinum Dental Group team. She was born in the Dominican Republic and helps us care for Spanish-speaking patients. She oversees office operations, possesses great communication skills with our patients and staff, and ensures everyone is on the same page as a team in order for us to provide the best customer experience. Kamir misses the beautiful weather of her home but loves it here, too. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Kelvin, and her sweet daughter, Myah.
Vanessa joined Platinum Dental Group in 2016 but has been in the dental field since 2001. She puts her years of experience and knowledge to work at our office by assisting the doctors, helping at the front desk, and backing up her coworkers. She also communicates with our patients and helps to meet their needs. Vanessa appreciates how our dentists are eager to implement new ideas and technology to give our patients personalized care and loves being a part of that process. Innovation is important to Vanessa, since it not only improves the patient experience, but enhances the operation of our office. As she will tell you, our goals at Platinum Dental Group are to create beautiful smiles and great relationships with our patients while keeping them comfortable in any way we can.
Vanessa is married to her lovely husband Chris and they have a daughter, Giuliana. When she is not at the office, Vanessa loves to spend time with her family, take walks on the beach and listen to music.

If I could give more then 5 stars I would!!! Was referred by a coworker as I was in some pain. Made an emergency appt the morning of and I must say everyone could have not been nicer, the girls at the desk, to the assistants helping the doctor and most importantly Dr. Huen himself. He was patient, understanding, and most of all caring, exactly what you want in a dentist!!!!

Mei, our outstanding hygienist, gave me an excellent dental cleaning today, as she has for many years! Dr. Moheisen proceeded to a complete dental checkup and spotted a cavity due to an old filling that partially broke up. As Mei informed him I live an hour away from this practice, he made arrangements to immediately repair my tooth, which is incredibly kind and thoughtful, and such great service, as it saved me a lot of time! The office is very professional and the young lady who took care of me at the front desk was very pleasant, polite and helpful. I do not recall having seen her there before so I imagine she is fairly new to this office, certainly off to a great start! Dr. Calvin Huen DMD was away on vacation this week and I missed him, as he is such a great doctor, kind, professional and attentive, who inspires trust and confidence. But I am thrilled to see that he is now joined by Dr. Moheisen, who is excellent too!

Honestly, Amazing Dentist!!! I went there for a cleaning and used google to find a well reviewed dentist in my area. They were very thorough and did an extensive amount of xrays. I hate waiting in doctor lobbies and was very happy when i was seen within 3 mins of walking in. Everyone was super nice and they even gave me some gifts when leaving. Highly recommended.

Platinum Dental Group is the best! Dr. Calvin is so knowledgeable and accessible. He explains all options going forward to maximize a patient's best dental outcome. Karen, the dental hygienist, is meticulous and thorough when doing her work. Both she and Dr. Calvin are also friendly and personable--in fact, everyone working in the office is--making one's total dental experience calm and pleasant. Loved the goodie bag too!

They bait and switch on you. They gave us an estimate of payment and they took the payment even before the procedure. Later send another huge bill, they didn't check with the insurance on coverage, When the metal crowns are covered, they decided to go with porcelain and now try to charge the difference. None of the information was told to the patient. The total payment received from insurance and from our copays is over 3K and they are trying to charge more. The billing dept is very rude. I had used many other dentists in my life, and never had issues like this. Stay away from this facility or be ready to pay a lot.

Having a tooth break is never a good thing. But Platinum got me in to see Dr.Calvin right away. Luckily I didn't have to have the remnants of the tooth removed and had a mold made to fix it. Hour and half later I was on my way. Thank you to all the staff. Very pleasant. 9/1/22.
