Below is our New Patient Package that you will need to complete on your first visit. You can expedite matters by downloading the package, completing it at home and handing it to our staff when you arrive for your initial visit to our office.
Your first visit to our office is designed to get you better acquainted with all we offer as well as introduce you to our caring staff. On your first visit, we will review your medical and dental histories and evaluate your oral health. We will take digital x-rays of your teeth and explain to you whether or not you will require any dental treatment.

Mayoly has been with our team since 2016, and has more than 18 years in the dental field as an office manager. She has received special training in management, customer service and dental insurance. Mayoly loves working with our doctor and office managers to implement new ideas, and seeing our patients walk out with a beautiful smile on their face. She also enjoys training new staff and is the driving force behind each new office, doctor and office manager to maintain our practices and keep them running smoothly. She is 100% committed to delivering whatever our doctors and office managers need.Mayoly enjoys spending time with her husband of 17 years; her son, Chris, who is attending Rutgers; and Melanie and Sophia. In her spare time she participates in Zumba and Salsa classes.
Michele Ambrosio graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in 1989 and has been a registered dental hygienist for over 30 years. She has practiced in Bayonne for the entirety of her career, spending over 25 years with South Hudson Dental Group before transitioning to Platinum Dental Group in 2015. Her tenure in Bayonne has allowed her to develop trust and rapport with patients of all ages. She strives to provide input on treatment that will benefit each patients overall dental health and wellness. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, particularly her husband Mark, and her daughters Emily and Abigail. She loves to cook and bake during her down time, and is known to share her recipes and dishes.
Since 2007, Kamir has been a valuable member of the Platinum Dental Group team. She was born in the Dominican Republic and helps us care for Spanish-speaking patients. She oversees office operations, possesses great communication skills with our patients and staff, and ensures everyone is on the same page as a team in order for us to provide the best customer experience. Kamir misses the beautiful weather of her home but loves it here, too. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Kelvin, and her sweet daughter, Myah.
Vanessa joined Platinum Dental Group in 2016 but has been in the dental field since 2001. She puts her years of experience and knowledge to work at our office by assisting the doctors, helping at the front desk, and backing up her coworkers. She also communicates with our patients and helps to meet their needs. Vanessa appreciates how our dentists are eager to implement new ideas and technology to give our patients personalized care and loves being a part of that process. Innovation is important to Vanessa, since it not only improves the patient experience, but enhances the operation of our office. As she will tell you, our goals at Platinum Dental Group are to create beautiful smiles and great relationships with our patients while keeping them comfortable in any way we can.
Vanessa is married to her lovely husband Chris and they have a daughter, Giuliana. When she is not at the office, Vanessa loves to spend time with her family, take walks on the beach and listen to music.

Just had my first visit at Platinum. My appointment started right on time with no wait. Jenny, the hygienist, was excellent! She took her time, she was gentle and thorough. She explained what she was doing and what she saw as problems along the way. When the dentist came in, he was efficient, reviewed the x-rays with me and identified treatment options. When I set up my treatment schedule at the desk, the office manager told me my expected out of pocket expense and had everything ready. I'll be back!

Everyone does a great job and I am a longtime patient. At first I thought about looking for a new dentist as I had been with dr latoracca for such a long time but I am super pleased with the new docs. I would suggest changing the sign in the window to your name now..it could be confusing to new patients.

Dr. Israel is a very good technical dentist who works with high end technology. He engenders confidence in his work and I suspect he generally gets good results. He is however, in it for the money (I do not begrudge him a very nice living) and I suspect, he will never offer an option, plan or solution for a patient which does not put plenty of it in his pocket. Alterntives which do not do so are adamantly kept off the table. It causes a little confidence problem for me. He is probably a little far ahead of his clientele - who are necessarily so called people of color - in the pricing range. Which is regretable, as it are those people, I suspect, who by and large, give him a living. Again, a good technical dentist I suspect. He knows that conscience can be a hindrance in business. .
