Dr. Michael Chaben, DDS is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He completed a one year general practice residency at Sinai Hospital of Detroit. Dr. Chaben is one of the most trusted dentist in Livonia and has completed numerous post-graduate courses including cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry and laser dentistry.
Dr. Kuet grew up in Grand Blanc and graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in biology. She then attended Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland before returning to the metro Detroit area. She has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years and loves the variety of general dentistry.
When she isn't practicing dentistry, Dr. Kuet loves to travel with her husband. She is an animal lover and a big fan of college football. She also loves spoiling her two young and energetic nephews! Dr. Kuet has a sister who is also a dentist.
Dr. Andrew P Sofen DDS graduated from the University of Michigan with honors, He grew up in the Kalamazoo area. Dr Sofen enjoys all aspects of dentistry including implant, dentures, veneers, filling, restorative dentistry, children dentistry, adult dentistry, root canal, and Oral surgery. Dr Andrew P. Sofen, DDS enjoys adopting new technologies including digital X-Ray and the most up-to-date bonding techniques He has a passion to help people and donate his time serving the dental needs at many senior homes. Dr Sofen is married and both of his two boys pursued careers in health care. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, watching the NBA and going to musical concerts. He is also active in his West Bloomfield neighborhood association and his temple. He has been a coach and a volunteer in the Boy Scouts of America. Dr. Sofen is proud to have worked in dentistry for a long time. He excels at making patients feel comfortable. He has sincere desire to eliminate patients fear from dentistry. Dr Sofen joined platinum dental care in 2018 and he is enjoying group dentist atmosphere.

Worked with Dr. Young for veneers. He did an amazing job. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. 10/10

Not an emergency dental service. Emergencies do not fit into appointment slots. Unable to see me on an emergent basis for dental abscess because they do not have an opening until following day. DO NOT say you are an emergency service location if that is not the case.

I seldom write reviews, but I feel obligated to warn people about this place. My longtime dentist retired and I believe sold the practice to these people. My experience with the new practice is this: The dentist talked me into replacing perfectly good fillings for new ones because he thinks they could be cracked. He botched the job. I had to come back 3 times to make it acceptable. Not nearly as good as it was before taking out the old ones, but acceptable. Now about the billing. They put a 35.00 charge on my bill for PPP. On top of that, they billed me twice for a cleaning. I had to provide my cancelled check to prove it. The last straw was billing me over 100.00 for a cleaning and claimed my insurance was maxed out. They couldn't wait 3 weeks for my insurance to reset for the year. I'm summary, I feel the dentist tries hard but just not competent. The billing department must be instructed to get as much as possible. I will not be going back.

Went in for a horrible toothache, dentist didn't feel comfortable with working on it so referred me out (3 weeks later with a horrible toothache). Dentist refused to prescribe any painkillers (discretionary). Been going there for 10 years literally 2 prescriptions in the past decade but now they refuse as if I'm lying. Real nice having your dentist office treat you like a druggie if you ask for any kind of pain killer.

Cool, clean office. All the employees are positive and incredibly helpful to patients as well as fellow employees. Compared to my last dentist. they really go above and beyond in terms of cleaning, xrays, and gum maintenance. Really good impression of this place.

Dr young & Dr chaben, associates at platinum care in livonia, gave a superb effort on all my nine visits there in the past 3 months. With clear x-rays and digital images, they gave me my best ever comprehensive exam followed up by continuous quality, professional care and ongoing evaluation. Coming to them at first with a cracked molar, they came through for me and I wish I found platinum care years ago! I felt no stress while I was there. They gave a quality and thorough explanation of all the work I needed (5 crowns and 5 fillings) and performed their work with concern for my comfort and sensitivity to all my needs. Both dentists and all the staff there have been very pleasant and friendly on all my visits and make me feel like I've been a patient there all my life.
