Dr. Asma Ahmed received her undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Science from Benedictine University in Lisle, IL. After personally experiencing the confidence boost from a picture perfect smile, Dr. Ahmed was left inspired and has dedicated herself to doing the same for others. She went on to receive a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Marquette University, School of Dentistry located in Milwaukee, WI. and is currently pursuing a fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Ahmed performs a wide range of dental procedures including teeth cleaning and/or deep cleaning, whitening, fillings, crowns, bridges, cosmetic work, implant restoration, dentures, partials, root canal therapy, bruxism treatment, pediatric procedures, and extractions.
Dr. Ahmed strives to provide each patient with the best quality of comprehensive care in a comfortable and friendly environment. Her mission is to provide individualized care to each of her patients, focusing on maintaining optimal oral health while aiming for esthetically pleasing results.
Dr. Ahmed is a strong proponent of leading an active, healthy lifestyle. She has been a lifelong Chicagoan and currently resides in the western suburbs with her husband and children. In her leisure, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends. She is known for her 3 point shots in basketball and will never turn down a round of golf! Dr. Ahmed also devotes time to stay current in the trends and advances in the field of Dentistry and incorporates this into her practice. She has been actively involved with several outreach volunteer programs and is an active member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society and Academy of General Dentistry.

I have been coming here for a few years now. The staff is always very friendly and professional. When there is a new procedure, it is always explained very well so I know exactly what to expect.

Went as a new patient and had a great experience. Staff was friendly and Dr. Ahmed was excellent. I highly recommend this place. Update (10/19/2022): The doctor rushed today and the office called to have me come early, which I did. The cleaning was rushed and I left bleeding and had to spit out blood in their sink. I also have bite wing x-rays covered by insurance and she said it was overkill. But I wanted them and she refused. Lastly, I didn't see her change gloves between patients. She has 3 rooms. Also poor air quality and they don't use Hepa filter's in each cleaning station. I'm moving on and don't recommend anymore.

I had my first visit yesterday and it was the best! In all my years going to different dentists, I've never felt so comfortable and well taken care of. This doctor was short of amazing, so gentle while working and very nice making sure I was doing okay during the procedure. I've never had an experience where I came out in no pain at all until yesterday and that was a major plus! And I loved how she doesn't waste patients times, she was in right away, but still made sure to take her time. I officially found a dentist I'm sticking with! Plus, Citlalli helped to make the visit so smooth, very sweet and welcoming. Awesome team work.

My daughter and I have been with this dental office for 4+ years and we can't imagine going anywhere else! Dr. Ahmed and staff are very professional and friendly! They make you feel at ease and we never dread going to the dentist! Each visit is always a Great experience!

I made an appointment at Platinum Dental Care after spending years searching for a dentist with whom I felt comfortable. Dr. Ahmed and her staff were so kind and accommodating, even after I had to reschedule my appointment. I will be sticking with Platinum Dental from now on.
