A New Mexico native, Dr. Rivera graduated from Del Norte High School in Albuquerque followed by a Bachelor of Engineering Degree from the University of New Mexico. He graduated in the top 10 percent of his dental class at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. Dr. Rivera has been named in Americas Top Dentists List for several years and has been in practice for over 37 years serving Rio Rancho, Corrales and the Albuquerque Westside communities.
He is married to his beautiful wife, Julia, and together they have a total of eight children and eight grandchildren. Dr. Rivera is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Academy of Bioesthetic Dentistry.
Dr. Romo was born and raised in New Mexico where he attended St. Pius X High School and went on to receive his Bachelors Degree at New Mexico State University. Dr. Romo graduated from University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry at the top of his class in clinical work.
He and his wife Carollann live in Albuquerque and in their free time they love to spend time with their horses and enjoy the outdoors. Dr. Romo is a member of the American Dental Association and is proud to serve the Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Corrales and surrounding areas as a dentist.

A great experience. Everyone is very friendly and educate you on the whole intake experience. Very customer service oriented and make you feel at home from the moment you walk in. Comprehensive photos of each of your teeth, X-rays, I formation about gum receding, instructions on brushing and flossing, as well as specialty needs. Highly recommend.

I recently established with Dr.Romo here and have had nothing but great experiences. This team treats you and your concerns with kindness and respect and are quick to schedule you for whatever dental needs you may be experiencing. I personally did not establish with any dentistry for a while because it can be a rough experience. Rest assured that you are safe here and will be treated with great care!

These guys are the best! Even my kids like going to the dentist now because they are so nice, fun and personable. They are great with kids, patient and gentle. They gave us advice and information no other dentist's had recommended before. They are super professional and Really take their time to get to know you personally. Found Dr. Rivera as I was searching for a dentist. I read the reviews and the reviews spoke for themselves. Dr. Rivera and his staff were very welcoming. Dr. Rivera explained to me all about my teeth and gums it was very interesting to listen to him speak about the why's and how I can prevent some issues now or in the near future. I enjoyed this visit. The cleaning that Kathy gave me was amazing. The staff are all awesome. Dr. Romo came in and welcomed me and introduced himself. I love this place.

Dr. Rivera just saved me hundreds of dollars by fixing a mouth guard I had gotten elsewhere. Good as new! Dr. Rivera's honesty, kindness and superior dentistry have blessed us for years. Before he and Dawn and Cathy began working on my teeth, I suffered from bleeding gums for years. Not any more, they quickly took care of that and I am very grateful. They are very sensitive to keeping their office safe during this trying time. Screening carefully everyone who walks into the office. Norma, the administrator, welcomes us so personably. We highly recommend Dr. Rivera and his staff as the go to dentist in Albuquerque/Rio Rancho!

Dr. Rivera has a wonderful staff. I've consistently had positive experiences over the past 20+ years with them. I live on the NE side but I drive out of my way to the West side for their superior service and attention to detail. The receptionist is very kind and friendly and gives you a carnation with a special note at the end of your appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Rivera and his staff to anyone.

Dr. Rivera and his staff are truly the best experience I've ever had. The dental work and empathetic, compassionate and proficient care they give should be what all others strive to accomplish. From front desk, assistant and Dr. they all treat you like family. They deserve 5++++ stars in my book. I've had treatment across the states and they truly do care and do what's good for you. I had major work done today and received a check-in call from the Doctor himself. His assistant and her compassionate care during procedure was what all assistants should strive to accomplish. I am beyond grateful for the care and treatment I received, not just today but anytime I need them.

I have been going to Dr. Rivera since we moved to New Mexico in 1988 area!! We love Dr. Rivera and all his staff. Dawn has been cleaning my teeth for as long as I can remember and Norma has always been the smiling face you see at the front. I have nothing but wonderful visits here.

Dr. Louis Rivera is an excellent dentist. He and his staff utilize new and advanced equipment. Also during these COVID times he has safe practices which I really like because aside from safe practices the rooms feel much more private. He explains everything very well and what to expect. I am happy with the care I receive from Dr. Rivera. The receptionist is Norma and she is the first and last person I see at the practice and she's always very kind and efficient.
