Dr. Dipak Mankame graduated from Nair Dental College and Hospital in 1976 with his bachelor degree in dental surgery. In 1979, he graduated from New York University with his doctorate degree in dental science. After graduation, Dr. Mankame practiced in New York, New York, until 1980. He then moved to Florida to continue his studies and graduated from the School of Advanced Dental Sciences at the University of Florida in 1988. He received his Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry shortly after.
Dr. Mankame opened his first practice in Sunrise, Florida, and provided dental service there from 1980 to 1993. Then, Dr. Mankame moved to India to dedicate his time to social service. Dr. Mankame traveled rural India providing free dental services to school children with the use of a mobile dental clinic. During his time in India, Dr. Mankame constructed dental camps throughout the country and set up charitable organizations for less fortunate individuals needing vision and dental healthcare.
In 2000, Dr. Mankame moved back to Florida and re-opened his private practice. Eleven years later, Dr. Mankame, with the help of his daughters, Dr. Disha Mankame and Dr. Gauri Mankame, opened Plantation Smile Care, a family dental office in Plantation, Florida.
Dr. Mankame has devoted over 30 years to the dental profession and to the highest quality patient care. He continues to contribute to the community by being involved in local charity organizations such as Community Smiles and Donated Dental. Dr. Mankame and his wife enjoy traveling several times a year to continue their volunteer work in India.
Dr. Disha graduated with high honors and completed her Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2010. Dr. Disha chose to study dentistry in Mumbai, India, allowing her to experience and enjoy her cultural roots and heritage. She obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Dr. D. Y. Patil Dental College and Hospital, India, in 2005, where she also completed her general internship in 2006.
Dr. Disha Mankame regularly attends continuing education courses to update her knowledge and keep up with the best practices, tools and techniques in general dentistry, implant surgery, orthodontics and treatment planning.
Dr. Disha was born and raised in Plantation, Florida, where she continues to build her career. She has a strong foundation of character and maintains the highest ethical and professional standard of care. Following her fathers good example, Dr. Disha has developed a strong sense of giving and volunteers at free dental clinics and camps.
Dr. Disha relates well with patients of diverse traditions and cultural backgrounds. She takes the initiative to reach out and get to know each patient and their families. She is highly motivated and provides exceptional care to her patients. Leveraging her good sense of humor, she maintains a friendly and cheerful ambience at work. She is meticulous and detail oriented, and she creates comprehensive treatment plans that leave each patient feeling reassured and happy.
Dr. Gauri Mankame graduated from Nova Southeastern University, Davie, Florida, in 2012 with a doctorate degree in dental medicine. After graduation, she started working in Plantation, Florida, at Plantation Smile Care. Dr. Gauri Mankame began her AEGD Residency at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, in July 2012.
While studying at Nova Southeastern, Dr. Gauri Mankame was involved in several charitable organizations such as Novas Give Kids a Smile event and the Sai Prasad Charitable Trust, a mobile clinic that gives children in rural India dental care. In her free time, Dr. Gauri Mankame enjoys traveling and reading, especially murder mysteries.

Dr. Anusri Patel is originally from Rosedale, Maryland. She attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County for her undergraduate studies and earned her B.A. in biological sciences with a minor in psychology. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she was a member of the Gamma Pi Dental Prosthodontic Honor Society and several other organizations. Upon her graduation from dental school in May 2020, she decided to enhance her dental knowledge and experience by pursuing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency (AEGD) at the Miami Veterans Health Administration in Miami, Florida.
She has been actively involved in community service since her undergraduate years. She has volunteered at several Mission of Mercy clinics, through which she has delivered free dental care to the underserved population. In her free time, Dr. Patel enjoys cooking, traveling, canvas painting, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.

I went for my cleaning appointment yesterday and got a good report as I am now totally following the advice of my hygienist. The dentist came in to view my teeth and all is well. Everyone is always accommodating and friendly. Makes going to the dentist a pleasure. And my teeth are so much better.

my journey has been very rewarding at PSC.. I came to have a tooth saved and at the end DR D saved my whole mouth with her skills.. I can't say that I've ever enjoyed going to the dentist, but I always feel at ease and relaxed at Plantation Smile care. They are pros over there. Thank you for making every experience a positive one. My Dental Hygienist Marie always takes great care of my cleaning. She's gentle and reliable. I cant find words to describe how wonderful this dental office and its staff is. I've made 5 visits and this is by far my best dentist experience. Of all the dentist's I've met, Dr Patel is definitely the best!

Totally devastate & frustrated with the horrible people and horrible service. My entire family went there since last 10+ years when Dr. Mankame was there. We are very faithful patients as he is super awesome dentist. However, now his daughter has changed the office policies and the new office staff under her is super rude, arrogant and totally not understanding to patients. They keep holding back our money from insurance for months and keeps charging us for no reason saying "its our new office policy". HORRIBLE experience...

I have been going to this dentist since I moved Florida. I had a slight emergency on a Saturday. Vern was the only one that answered the phone. I and my family have been going there since. I have seen all three of the dentist and all are great.

My experience from calling on the phone and speaking to the receptionist, right back to leaving the office was remarkable. The doctor, Dr. Disha Mankame was very thorough and explained everything thing each step of the way. The dental hygienist, Maria Raffo was so gentle and sweet. I explained from the beginning that I had some sensitivity and the tools generally hurt. They were able to numb the area with a topical gel and the cleaning went smoothly. This is my new dentist, hands down! Thanks guys. If I could have given you all more than 5 stars I would.

I was TERRIFIED by the thought that i had to get a root canal. So afraid that I avoided the dentist for 11 years! I had some really bad cavities that needed root canals after all that time. I went to Dr. Mankame for a consultation and they assured me that I wasn't going to feel a thing and I didn't. I watched TV the whole time and was painless enough to laugh at the TV. They numb you well in the beginning and even continue to numb you during the procedure so you literally don't feel a thing.
