Dr. Charles T. Hopkins, III DMD is a native of Griffin, Georgia having spent many summer days on St. Simons during his childhood years. A fourth generation dentist, he graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Biology and went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia. After graduation from dental school, Dr. Hopkins (Chase) was awarded a one-year fellowship in Oral Surgery at Georgia Regents University in Augusta. During that time he received training in advanced surgical techniques, and placement location of dental implants for maximum patient benefit. He will provide Cosmetic and General Restorative Services in the practice. Dr. Hopkins and his wife Anna have one son Charlie and one daughter Nancy and are active members in St. Simons Community Church.

For 34 years now I have been a dental patient at Plantation Dental Associates. I see then twice a year and have also been seen by the staff there for dental issues other than regular cleaning. The staff is remarkable...always prompt, courteous, very friendly and very professional. A friend from Virginia who also has a home in Camden County had a dental emergency this past year while in Camden County. I recommend Dr. Hopkins and his staff. My friend was able to get an appointment quickly and had his dental issue resolved. Now my Virginia friend has a dental group here when needed.
