Dr. Takeda is a Plantation native and has recently relocated back to South Florida. She completed her undergraduate education and doctor of dental medicine degree at the University of Florida graduating in 2008. Dr. Takeda then completed a General Practice Residency program in Brooklyn, NY where she received advanced training in oral surgery, pediatric dentistry and hospital-based dentistry with the medically compromised. Dr. Takeda joined the Plantation Dental Associates team in 2016. A firm believer in education, Dr. Takeda is constantly taking courses to be able to provide her patients with the latest techniques in dentistry. Dr. Takeda is an active member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Brent Herbert Nova Southeastern University School of Dental Medicine in 2005. He joined Plantation Dental Associates in 2005. The advanced curriculum and demanding clinical experience has instilled the knowledge of dental care that is always focused on the patients well being. In order to provide his patients with the latest treatments with quality care, Dr. Herbert places a high priority on continued education and training. Educational pursuits include advanced study in the areas of cosmetic and restorative dentistry as well as orthodontics and implant dentistry. As an active participant of the dental professional community, Dr. Herbert maintains membership in many organizations including the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association.
Dr. Palenzuela is a South Florida native and has been practicing dentistry in Plantation, Florida for over 22 years. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Miami where she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Science. She received her degree in Dentistry in 1996 at the University of Florida. Dr. Palenzuela joined Plantation Dental Associates in 1996 and is now co-owner of the practice. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association and practices general family dentistry.

I highly recommend Dr. Takeda and the whole Plantation Dental team. The office runs super efficiently and the staff is professional and friendly. Dr. Takeda is the best of the best. She always takes the time to explain all of my options and answers any questions I have. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and cared for. Best experiences I have had with any local dental office. Office is clean, staff are professional and very friendly and my dentist, Dr. Palenzuela, is the best dentist I've encountered in many years. If you're hesitant based upon a history of poor experiences elsewhere, I highly recommend you give this office a visit.

I've loved the staff at this facility for years, starting with Audra & Shannon at the helm, always pleasant & professional. My cleaner Patty takes care of my teeth 3 times a year and she's practically family to me. Over the last 2 weeks I went through a crown replacement process. Dr. Mari has an amazing bedside manner and made what would usually be an unpleasant procedure not bad at all. Great personality on this whole staff. And for Dr Brent Herbert- GO GATORS!!

The team working at Plantation Dental Associates is an excellent one. The business has a good system for booking appointments & send automatic electronic reminders. They have always take me in and completed my cleanings exactly on the scheduled time. My dental hygienist and my dentist are the best, very nice and professional. Definitely a team to recommend

Called with an emergency they got me in the next day. Dr. Palenzuela fixed my problem. I was in and out in a flash. I've used this office for a few years. Awesome staff and Doctors. Highly recommend them.

I can not RAVE enough about Dr. Herbert and the entire Plantation Dental Office... This is not only the ABSOLUTE BEST dental office, it is THEEEEE ABSOLUTE BEST professional office I've EVER been to in all of my 59 years! The office itself is IMMACULATE , and the staff is TOP-NOTCH! Each and every one of them are so sweet and caring, and extremely efficient, and Dr. Herbert is a GEM, always taking time to explain every procedure and every option thoroughly; and ALWAYS with his patient's best interest as his top priority.
